"Never again! Dirty sheets, uncomfortable beds, electricity disconnected twice in one night where we don’t have heat. I tried to get out of my booking on the second night but they refused. Not recommended at all. Avoid if you can at all cos! "

"We had a truly wonderful stay at Souli Beach Hotel during a family trip with our toddler, and it exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, patient, and accommodating, going out of their way to make sure our little one — and we — were comfortable throughout our stay. Their kindness really made a difference and made us feel genuinely welcome as a family.
The views are absolutely brilliant, with stunning, uninterrupted panoramas of the sea. Being so close to the water was...

"Thanks to the stuff, Andri and Nafsika, we had a great experience. They were polite and very helpful with everything. As for the parking, it is a bit of an issue."

"Hotel is located in very quiet and peaceful area of old town Paphos. Room was clean and staff was very welcoming and always very helpful. Breakfast buffet had everything you would ask for as well as à la carte menu. Garden dining area did make it even better in the sunny mornings. I would definitely recommend and return in the future!"

"This is our second stay here and for sure will be our regular place if we return to Paphos (and we certainly hope we will)! The location is great, walkable to the port and many restaurants and shops (and it has parking). The rooms are quite large and very comfortable. The breakfast is terrific. And most of all the staff are all wonderful - kind, helpful and interesting (and genuinely interested in the guests)"
The best area to stay in Panagia is within the village center itself, particularly along the main roads like Archbishop Makarios III Avenue, for easy access to its primary attractions and a genuine village experience.
This area is the heart of Panagia, offering visitors a chance to experience the local pace of life. The village is compact and walkable, with traditional stone houses, narrow streets, and a central square where locals gather. It's home to the Monastery of Panagia Chrysorrogiatissa and the birthplace of Archbishop Makarios III, both significant landmarks within walking distance.
Couples looking for a peaceful retreat will find this area particularly fitting. The quiet streets, traditional tavernas serving local cuisine, and the opportunity for scenic walks through the surrounding vineyards and hills provide a relaxing and authentic Cypriot experience.
When is the best time to go to Panagia?
While Panagia, Cyprus, is a wonderful destination year-round, the best time to visit for ideal weather and a full experience is between May and October.
During these months, the weather is consistently warm and sunny, with temperatures ranging from the comfortable mid-70s Fahrenheit in May to the low 90s in July and August, then mellowing back down to the 80s in September and October. This period is great for enjoying outdoor activities like hiking the scenic trails around the village, exploring the vineyards, or simply relaxing in the pleasant Mediterranean climate.
For travelers who prefer slightly cooler temperatures and fewer crowds, May, June, September, and October are particularly appealing.
