The location is excellent. It is just around the corner from two metro stations so it was quick and easy to get anywhere in the city. The neighborhood felt safe and was very clean. There were lots of restaurants and shopping nearby. We also loved the breakfast—lots of selections and wonderful breads and pastries. Delicious hot options as well—eggs, bacon, super yummy sausages, crepes, and pancakes. The staff was the absolute BEST! They were so friendly and helpful. They made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Quiet area with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Quirky hotel which was clean and friendly. The only downside is that there is no carpet anywhere so people coming and going is a bit noisy and the cleaners dragging the beds above our room makes quite a noise. The in room safe was great and easy to use. The curtains were really good and kept the room dark in the morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful and even printed out concert tickets for us. We only had breakfast on the last morning but there was plenty of choice, hot and cold, it was good value for money. The only negative was that the beds were quite narrow and the mattress could have been a bit firmer but that is personal choice. If you are not that into walking, the metro is a stones throw away. Yes rooms are compact but they are clean, with great character and have all you need. I was surprised how quiet they were considering the central location. Good spread for breakfast. I travelled with my 10 year old daughter and it would have been helpful to have a little guidance on the local eateries as it was a bit hit and miss.
