"A fantasy sold on Instagram. A fraud delivered in person. $750+/night for a 3-star property that learned how to use a drone camera. LOCATION: Middle of nowhere. You need a car — and don't use their Google Maps link. It sent us down a dirt road and damaged our rental before we'd even checked in. PRIVACY: Fiction. Neighbors, lobby traffic, stairways, passing drivers — all have direct line of sight into your "private" pool suite. The circular design is stunning in photos and catastrophic in reality. You are never not visible. SPA: A two-person sauna that belongs in a budget gym. A freezing pool rebranded as "magnesium" — cold water with a wellness label. A hammam with no steam and a sewage smell we couldn't tolerate for two minutes. These should be closed, not marketed. POOL: Cold, shaded, filthy. Bugs and dirt floating daily. Staff admitted it was dirty at check-in. Nobody came. Heating costs extra. At this price, that's insulting. HOUSEKEEPING: They enter the room and somehow leave it still dirty. Floors ignored, amenities not restocked. Dead insects everywhere. BREAKFAST: Overcooked eggs, soggy toast, slow service. Stranded on a hillside, so you eat it anyway. The view is nice. It is the only thing here that isn't a lie."

"The hotel itself is beautiful, with great facilities and lovely views of both the mountains and the sea. The shared pool access rooms are definitely worth it and really enhanced the experience. The pool bar was also a highlight, and Elissa in particular provided fabulous service throughout our stay. That said, there were a few areas where the experience fell short of what you would expect from a true 5* hotel. The vegetarian food options were quite limited and unfortunately was not very good overall. We also found the reception staff fairly unhelpful, starting from check-in where we were simply handed an information sheet rather than being properly welcomed or briefed on the hotel. To make matters worse, some of the information provided was inaccurate — for example, the à la carte restaurant was advertised as open for dinner bookings, but we later discovered it only operated two nights a week, meaning we were unable to get a reservation during our stay. Drinks were another disappointment. While using non-premium brands isn’t necessarily an issue, the menu was misleading in places — for example, the Aperol Spritz was advertised as containing Aperol, but was instead made with a much cheaper alternative, which noticeably affected the quality. Overall, I’d say the hotel has the facilities and appearance of a 5* resort, but the service and attention to detail felt much closer to a 4* experience."

"Our stay at Myrion Suites in Crete, Greece was absolutely unforgettable. The location is incredible — right on the beach with stunning views and such a peaceful atmosphere. From the very beginning, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience special. Even before we arrived, they were extremely helpful and provided us with useful information that made planning our trip so much easier. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted and personally escorted to our room, where we found champagne and a beautiful anniversary cake waiting for us. I had emailed them beforehand mentioning our anniversary, and it was such a thoughtful and appreciated gesture that truly made us feel welcomed and celebrated. The daily breakfast was also fantastic, offering a great menu with plenty of delicious options each morning. The spa area was another highlight of our stay — such a peaceful and relaxing space to unwind. We especially enjoyed using the indoor pool and sauna. Since we visited in May, the outdoor pool was still a bit chilly, but the indoor pool more than made up for it with its serene atmosphere and relaxing setting. Every detail of our stay reflected the care and hospitality of the team at Myrion Suites. This resort exceeded all expectations, and I would come back time and time again if I could. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Crete!"
