As a 19-year-old, I was severely mistreated by the owner of the room we stayed in. He made a comment run into the postbox across the road with my car, asked when I would be leaving and outlined where to leave the keys when we left. That was the extent of our conversation throughout my 3-day stay. The amenities weren't as advertised. There was no kitchen to use and we had to wash our dishes in the bathroom sink. No kitchen knives were provided, no dishwashing detergent, no sponge, no additional bin bags for the minuscule bin we had and only 2 water bottles for "complimentary water". I also wasn't aware that the room was shared, meaning there was a family living in the house as well. All there was dividing us and the family was an extremely thin sliding door, we could hear every move the family made and I'm sure they could hear us as well. For their "bed and breakfast" to be successful they must add soundproofing or at least a better door to separate the two areas. I don't usually leave reviews like this and I'm honestly saddened to, I didn't enjoy my stay and will not visit again.

Excellent place to stay. Very clean and tidy. The owner communicates really well and answers any queries quickly. Breakfast, tea, coffee supplied. Bed linen was fresh. TVs in lounge and bedroom. Nice and private. Would highly recommend. Thanks guys.

its a little small and no kitchen facilities for washing dishes or filling the kettle as it doesnt fit under the bathroom tap. very clean and easy access to property. Very secure and friendly owners. You can hear them through the walls. No eating area.

After staying at this property overnight, we found the accommodation very clean & presentable, on the down side we found the doona rather thin with no other blankets & only two pillows, we were also shocked & very unsettled to find a camera in the corner of the small living room connected to the bedroom watching our every move! Is this normal in air B&B’s??....after finding mouldy bread waiting for our breakfast & a fridge stocked with minimal food that did not look like the one shown in the advertised photos,we will not be returning

Alex was very friendly and helpful. Everything was beautifully clean and obviously a lot of thought has gone into what is provided for the guests. Only thing that could improve is the bed. It was not very comfortable but it could easily be fixed with one of those memory foam mattress toppers that you can get from Spotlight. That would transform that bed into something like you would find in an expensive hotel and make the stay just perfect!

W are pleased with the cleanliness. My spouse was complaining about lack of face towels, shower cap and conditioner etc. There was no change of towel and bed sheet on the second day as well. We are not sure this is the standards for B&B. services?

We had a really great stay at Caversham B&B. The host and his family were very welcoming & we had everything we needed for our visit. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The location was quiet & peaceful & in walking distance to shops and also close to Whiteman park. Would definitely recommend.

Nice stay overnight

Great location near the Swan Valley vineyards, spacious open closet area in the room for the bags and great WiFi signal. The host was very friendly and accommodating to my schedule and provided a welcome drink as well. Highly recommend!
