Freshly presented with new furnishings, lots of light and a private tropical pond garden, The Sanctuary is a great place to relax with all that South Fremantle has to offer on your doorstep. The Sanctuary is a Klopper architect designed home with mezzanine bedroom, exposed industrial steel span trusses and reclaimed timbers plus bespoke glass art that will delight. WIFI, parking, king bed, air conditioning, smart tv. Original timber floors, recycled brick feature walls, soaring raked ceilings with exposed industrial steel trusses and porcelain floor tiles compliment the modern décor. The kitchen with dishwasher, wall oven, induction cooking and masses of cupboard space is fully stocked with crockery, cutlery, glassware, cookware and some pantry items. Breakfast bar living or long work station with bar stools. Stone top vanity with glass basin. Custom made oval spa bath offering the perfect indulgence after a hectic day. WC and walk in shower or shower in complete privacy outside! The Sanctuary has an abundance of natural light and overlooks the tranquil and secluded rear garden and courtyard. Cascading water feature surrounded by tropical landscaping and a glorious Poinciana tree. Fencing constructed from mixed materials including handmade glass panels and a set of Goan timber doors. Master bedroom on the airy mezzanine level with remote controlled ceiling fan. Louvred windows that receive the refreshing Freo Doctor ocean breeze and cross-ventilate the home. Laundry with new washing machine and clothes dryer. Gated entrance and located behind a renowned glass gallery. Parking in the dedicated off street car bay to the side of the building. South Fremantle is a very special, unique neighbourhood with the ocean on The Sanctuary's doorstep. South Beach is renowned for its family friendly grassed area, cafe and swimming beach. You will love wandering around the small side streets checking out the renovated historical workers cottages and pocket sized gardens. Peaches organic green grocers and the Freo Fresh IGA supermarket are 5 minutes walk away with a chemist and specialty stores (incl a great shoe shop ladies!). Popular local artisan bakeries. Can become hot and stuffy in the upstairs bedroom (open plan), however (noisy) ceiling fan and air con available. Great location \~ everything within walking distance. Franks gourmet butcher was excellent. It would have been nice to have face washers, tissues and champagne glasses availablr however the kitchen was fully equipped. Great decor. Maybe not the best choice for a long term stay though, unless you are out during the day. The accommodation shares a wall with a shop at the front which can be quite noisy and distracting at times if you are trying to work or relax. Also doesn't seem to be equipped for longer term stays. We stayed 46 nights and there was no interim cleaning provided, only one set of sheets and towels provided and consumables such as bin bags, toilet rolls etc were only provided for a few days so we had to provide our own.Owner / property manager is a great communicator though, the garden is lovely and I would recommend it as a place to stay short term. ##### Amber K. It was very well set up throughout and had everything you needed in terms of the kitchen, comfy lounge etc. We didn’t realise how difficult it would be to navigate the stairs however - the bed was upstairs and the bathroom and toilet etc were downstairs. We are in our 70’s so should have realised it would be a problem for us! Garden needed a bit of help but a lovely place to sit and ponder. Only complaint that the aircon is not able to cope with the climate and the fan is noisy. The bed is situated under the eaves so hot air gets trapped. Love the furnishings, style and innovative design. The loft bedroom is perfect for a couple or single. The bathroom is downstairs and it’s best to leave a light on if getting up in the night is required. Love the sheets, one thing missing a face washer. The side light would be good if it came on earlier as you enter. The location is fabulous, we love south freo and it’s a nice walk to Fremantle. The courtyard makes the outlook very relaxing. There was an issue with the Internet, which took 8 days to fix, although this was not the fault of the owner. The only other issue we had with the property was that the neighborhood seemed very noisy, mainly dogs barking, and DIY being done early in the morning, so again no fault of the owner. ##### Susan W.
