We were greeted with warm smiles and a beautifully decorated room for our 30th Anniversary. The room was very clean (although the bed could have been a layer softer / I’m sure if we mentioned this they would have accommodated). Our favorite staff was the pool bartender “Arm” and also Kaheow (main greeter at breakfast) always happy, positive and went out of their way to be sure we had everything we needed! The massages were AMAZING with Vi!!!!!!! Location was perfect! Quiet even though action surrounded us!

Resort was very good overall.... Although, rooms can be very noisy though, plus marijuana smell from people smoking wasn't good.. Taxi pickup to airport, we asked for a car and got a bus, which was very very slow and frustrating as we were on a time schedule to airport.

Had a fantastic stay at the R-Mar, it is a short walk to all the night life action, shopping & beach. Resort pool with swim up bar was awesome & all the staff were super friendly & very attentive. Rooms are clean & simple, serviced daily & as it isn’t a huge resort it felt quiet & relaxing even so close to Bangla Rd.

Happy to be back.

We had stayed at the R mar years ago and loved it, so wanted to get back to enjoy the great pool, massages available. It was just the same. Staff very polite and helpful, breakfast was great, with good variety. Rooms were sufficient size with a lovely balcony. We would return again.

Great place to stay. Building view rooms look outwards from resort. Garden view room would have been quieter I think. Next time I would pay the extra money for the garden view room. Great location, close to everything. Nice pool area. Good short cut to the beach down the laneway. Heaps of good dining options nearby. Great medium priced option. Good facilities and good price. If we come back to Phuket again we would stay here.

Good place to stay in

Great location, very friendly staff. Breakfast was good, also the pool and free parking onsite were pretty good. Room - Large, clean with all the necessary amenities, However the shower is poor, old, and not welcoming. The mattress is very hard, for some people it may be suitable but for others not. Bottom line - If you're looking for a reasonable price resort near Patong Beach - go for it.

The resort is located very near Soi Paradise, Bangla Street, and Patong beach, but as it is off the main road, manages to be peaceful on hotel grounds. The room itself was a little dated, having a lighting control panel that was all the way into the room. Also, while the bath tub was quite large, the faucets were a little old, and some corners of the bath had dark spots. On a whole, great stay, friendly staff, and convenient location.

Love hate relationship

Bit of a love hate with this hotel. We spent 7 nights here and the general hotel area is good and well presented the bathrooms are very dated and why a bath ?. loved the pool area and staff .Hated we was on the 3rd floor and no lifts? Loved they did a free BBQ for songkran festival. Hated was accused of stealing a Face towel on departure ? they check the room before you can leave .
