“We love this hotel and will keep returning. The grounds are extensive and lovely; the hotel itself is beautifully furnished and very comfortable with spacious communal areas. The rooms are also excellent and the food at breakfast and dinner is delicious. However, the highlight for us is always the wonderful staff who go out of their way to be charming, helpful and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble here and we would recommend it very highly to anyone looking for an amazing stay in a beautiful……

We had a rough trip from California, with plane diversions, rental car issues and a long drive to the property, arriving late at night, but the lovely property manager waited at her restaurant and had dinner-to-go for us and directed us to the rental. The property was just as described and perfect for our visit — convenient to the adorable town of Sovana and all of the local sites we wanted to see. The pool was heaven-sent after a long day of……

“The address of the hotel was wrong on the Hotels.com web site. After an anxious hour or so our host was kind enough to come and get us, we were on foot walking the Via Francigena and the additional 4 miles back would have been a killer. Our host arranged for a cab the next morning so we were back on schedule. Worth the cab expense to keep on schedule. Wonderful evening meal and a great hotel. I would visit it again.”
