“We had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend at the Northwoods cabin! The neighborhood surrounding the cabin was quiet and peaceful so I took advantage of that and went for many walks!Additionally my kids kayaked and paddle boarded in the lake in the backyard. Luckily there was a boat rental, and we were able to rent a pontoon for the day! We had beautiful weather and were able to check out the chain of lakes. I’m not one for swimming in lakes, but the water here was clear and was a great temp! We……

“Great location. The place was quiet even when others arrived. Plenty to do around the area or just settle in and enjoy the peace. Water in shower was slow to heat up, but that was the only downfall. ”

“ We came up from Kansas City and stayed Sunday to Saturday. Everything we needed for our vacation! The bed was comfortable, the AC and heat worked great. When we wanted to watch the Royals post season game, we grabbed our laptop and watched out at the campfire. Wifi Signal was great. Did some fishing. The lake was nice and calm. “The renovated Barn was beautiful. It had everything we needed. The views of the river were gorgeous it is in a central location very quiet. The extra shed was nice to spend time in because one of my sons is allergic to mosquitoes . We also had an amazing adventure on the river. We rescued a barn owl that was stuck in fishing line hanging from a tree. So amazing. We would stay here in a heartbeat again.”
