He told me to watch my bank statement to see if it was done. This is the first time that I have been treated like this in any Quality Inn. But the room itself reeked of smoke and when we opened the mini-fridge, it still had the garbage in it that the last occupants left. A wine bottle, open drink and open yogurt. Floors appeared clean, but when we looked under the bed before leaving to make sure we had everything, there was garbage and dirt underneath. I am sensitive to smoke, so I spent the whole night snuffling and wheezing. I never write critical reviews, but I was disappointed in the experience for the price point. The whole atmosphere was of a somewhat brokened down, outdated place. The outside hallways were dirty and dimly lighted. The bathroom was the worst. For whatever reason the bathtub/ shower sits about 6 inches higher than normal. It is a struggle getting into it, but very difficult to get out of. They do have a sign warning one about exiting the tub. There is one handle bar, but it is on a wall outside of the tub. The towels are a very cheap quality, but there is a sign by the sink stating that a significant charge will be add to your credit card, if they are missing. Also, there is no maid service. If you want fresh towels, you have to turn your used ones nto the desk. Fresh ones may be available or you may have to wait quite a few hours for them. It is obvious that they only have a few employees that have to do multiple jobs.
