  • Discover this beautiful gem in Plains, Montana. Enjoy the Spectacular views of the Clark Fork River and 360* of the surrounding mountains. Relax and gaze at the stars and wildlife while lying in bed with a comfortable memory foam mattress and premium bedding. This dome is perfect for small families, Set up with one queen bed and two twin beds. There is no electric or bathroom inside the dome. Rechargeable fans and lanterns are provided as well as bottled drinking water. We also have porta potty's and handwashing stations at the glampground. Unwind, disconnect and reconnect with nature. We were very happy with the cleanliness, communication with the Hostess, being pet-friendly, and the location. The road leaves a little to be desired in traveling up to the property. We discussed the beds with the Hostess and she was receptive to suggestions. I've never seen a cleaner port-a-potty anywhere! Would highly recommend you try these for a new adventure. We really appreciate what Trina is trying to do here! Thanks for a great experience!!

This property is amazing, and the geodesic domes are a really interesting and unique place to stay. Trina really thought of everything when it comes to these domes, and I appreciate that. We were treated to beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and could see the river running through town as well as the train. Trina offered valuable local knowledge and gave us great recommendations. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you again for everything, Trina!

Concerning Behavior/safety

We arrived at 7:40 PM and followed instructions to check in at the host’s trailer. At first, only the host’s children were present. When Trina came out five minutes later, she appeared intoxicated, stumbling down the steps and needing to steady herself against her vehicle.What followed was about 15 minutes of chaos. Trina insisted we had booked a different unit than the one on the reservation (blaming VRBO), and her children repeatedly yelled that she had been drinking. She even asked me, a complete stranger, to yell at her children because, in her words, “you’re a man and they’ll listen.”. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional.Trying to avoid conflict, I said the unit didn’t matter and we just needed to unpack. Trina insisted on driving to the dome against my wishes. While attempting to drive, her children climbed onto her SUV, and she ended up striking one of them. He was uninjured, but at that point, I was genuinely concerned for the safety of my own family. We left the property about 30 minutes after arrival without ever being given access to the unit.VRBO was no help. They initially asked for proof, I did not think to record the host. They then said they would assist in finding us lodging, but then simply reconnected us with the host and left the call. Trina promised a full refund, but none has been issued. We had to drive 2.5 hours to find alternate lodging at our own cost.This stay was unsafe, unprofessional, and made worse by VRBO’s failure to support us.
