“After a bit of a rough start on the day of check in, we came to love Golden Sand. What we loved: 1) The drinks! Vasilis is an excellent bartender. We tried a variety of cocktails and every one was spot on. His golden zombie is the best! 2) Location - perfect spot across from the beach. “Amazing location, about 20 meters from the beautiful Plaka beach. Our beach house was perfect for our family of 4, with seperate bedrooms and 2 complete bathrooms on 2 floors. SUPER clean property, very well maintained, with daily cleaning. Highly recommend this hidden jewel!”

“The location was fantastic! Not overly crowded like a few miles down the beach. The beach was pristine and there were plenty of chairs and umbrellas available. The hotel was very clean and most of the staff was quite nice and accommodating. I only have 2 complaints-I booked a sea view room but had no view of anything. My biggest complaint though is that the bed had to be the most uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on. It was about 2 inches thick and rock hard.”
