“Great staff, especially Roman and Lucy at Reception. They were so welcoming and offered great tips for dining and parking around Chamonix during UMTB week. I wouldn’t recommend staying here without a car since it’s a little off the beaten path, but it was a great home base for our trip. ”

“The stuff are very nice with us and we had a very good experience with them but I think the hotel should upgrade the installation because there is even no drinking water in the room or a Hot water bottle and there is no microwave which is very inconvenient and we had two single bed and the bed is very small but I really have to say the stuff is very very nice with us so I’m really happy with that !”

“Four years ago, we stayed at the Hotel Les Grands Montets as part of our Tour du Mont Blanc ten-day trek. We had two nights there as we prepared for our last two legs of hiking on our trek. Unfortunately, poor weather did not permit us to take the preferred route to the Lac Blanc -- wind and precipitation made that leg too dangerous. We did an alternate route. We decided to complete the Lac Blanc section one day. This year, we completed that leg of the trip under excellent weather……

“Very quaint and homey, perfect for two travelers looking for a cheap stay near the Chamonix area. Fabienne and the rest of the staff were kind and accommodating, evidenced by them working with us when we encountered bus and flight delays. Rooms were cleaned daily. Additionally, you have the option to pay the first day you arrive or the last (if you plan on taking advantage of the hotel breakfast, it’s easier to pay upon checking out). Would stay again if we decide to journey out to Chamonix.……
