Pleasant Valley Vacations from $770

We were lucky with a great view of Denali on a clear afternoon. We had a standard 2 queen room and it was spacious and comfortable. There is no AC, but the window opened and there was a ceiling fan and a standing fan that made it confortable. We didn't eat at the restaurants, but they looked nice We did have breakfast atvthe coffee shop. Muffins and the breakfast sandwich were very good, as well as the coffee. Staff was friendly.

The room we reserved had a broken shower so we were “upgraded” to a room with a tub that didn’t hold the lukewarm water. Never got hot. The refrigerator quit in the middle of the night. About $100 worth of food and wine were ruined. It was clean and affordable and the staff were mostly polite but not very helpful. Felt like a big inconvenience to simply stay in a fully functioning unit. So much so that I didn’t bother trying to complain about the problems with the “upgrade”. It won’t be somewhere I revisit unless my budget is extremely tight!

Bath rooms were too small.

The property was difficult to locate. We did call and received directions. Staff was very helpful in general. The TV in our room did not work and we were unable to connect to the Internet. We did reach out to staff…who came to fix the TV…still did not work. We really didn’t need the TV or Internet, however if it’s offered, it would be nice if it worked. Beautiful setting.

Great location right at the entrance to the park and restaurant is outstanding. Rooms were clean and comfortable although be aware a lot of bus tours stay here too.
