Family vacation

The apartment is near beach and bus station, with a beautiful view of the sea. Free parking. The only negative thing is the road to the house, it's too steep.

Nice apartment up on the hill in Podstrana with view to the sea and private garden. Parking in the yard of the house. Bus 60 goes to Split from the main street near the house.

Perfect weekend getaway

Sunny, the host, was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond to make sure our stay was wonderful. Located just outside of a bus stop that easily took you into Split center city. Gorgeous views from our balcony. This is more of a boutique-style BnB, so bringing your own body wash and shampoo is recommended. If you forget, there’s a small Tommy’s (grocery store) less than a 10 min walk from the hotel. Would stay here again and again!

The location was great for us as were an active family, the sofa bed was extemely uncomfortable, and the hill to get to the property was very steep. Leave yourself plenty of time to get into Split as the traffic is always busy along the main route into and out of this area. There was a lot of noise from the family in the room above which made our stay less relaxing and peaceful than we’d hoped. There was a fantastic beach and bar just over the road.

Good proximity to the beach and nice view from the garden. However we were disappointed with the studio which was half level below the ground with no view at all. Equipment and bathroom are obsolete. Overall average level of cleanliness and a couple of cockroaches strolling around!

Overall nice experience. Unfortunately the season hadn’t began yet, so most of the restaurants and places near apartment were closed/serving only lunch. Our garden was not yet furnished, so we could not use the sunbed. The apartment was OK, we needed to use terrace door (the front door was not accessible). There was no salt, oil, coffee (and no coffee machine) - the host was friendly so probably could have asked from them. Wifi was bad and did not work most of the days. The apartment is last house on the hill, ask taxi to drive you up with luggage. Spectacular view, nice and clean beaches. Prepare cash for most of the activities in Split and Podstrana!

We spent 5 wonderful nights at Rakuljic apartments!! Easy to get there by car and you have a private car park in front of your apartment. It is only 40 minutes from Split airport. We loved the experience from the beginning as we arrived quite late and that was not a problem for our host at all. She welcomed us, asked about our journey, explained us about the apartment and offered her help in case that we needed any tips during our trip. She was very friendly, attentive and made us feel welcome and at home. The property has only very few apartments so is very quiet and you have a garden area with barbecue. The views to the sea are just fantastic! In the apartment we found everything we needed: hob, mini-fridge, kettle, cutlery, kitchen towels, washing up liquid, A/C, hairdryer, towels and bedding sheets. And if there's anything else that you need I am sure that Suni will assist you. Thank you very much for your warm hospitality and we look forward to our next visit!! Pablo, Eva.

The apartment we rented was on the top floor so we had a fantqstic view from the terrace overlooking the Adriatic with Brac Island. It is a spacious apartment in a quiet building, with free parking.

We were running late and were so impressed by the service and hospitality offered here. Calling ahead, we were told no problem on our late arrival and were greeted warmly when we arrived. The place was new, clean, comfortable and inviting! The views are spectacular. If we wasn't so tired, we would have taken advantage of the outside patio area at night. A lovely and clean place to stay.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!

Awful! Complete scam! I showed up to the apartment within the check-in time and no one was there. I called the property number multiple times and I got no answer. I sat outside the apartment for an entire hour before I had to rent a place somewhere else. Not only did I lose all my money but I also had to spend money on extra ubers as well. Beware of this place!

Me and my partner loved the apartment and found it was in very good condition. The view from the balcony was incredible. The owner is lovely and very accommodating. However there was a lack of cleaning supplies meaning that the apartment got dirty and attracted ants,upon request She did provide a mop but it would have been more practical to have a cleaning cupboard of access at all times. It is not far from the city or surrounding towns and buses run often so it is easy to explore other places. The hill to the apartment was steeper than what we imagined, there are a set of steps halfway up the hill but it is still quite the walk up it. The grocery store is very close however there is not really a path to get to it. Airport transport can be arranged for a good price but there is a bus that goes directly from split to the airport. The ammenties were enough to get by with.

Nice property but so many issues. Firstly it's not a quick walk from the main road. It's up and incredibly steep narrow hill. Driving up it is nervy. Walking up and down it for the beach is hard work. Beach might look close but it's further than it appears due to hill. Confusion on arrival. They didn't have our booking name or ref. Host had to hone someone to check booking. And then we were asked to pay cash. We were told pay on arrival, not cash. An hour into our stay the power and water went out. We had no idea what had happened and no-one communicated anything. That's not the hosts fault but we should have heard something. It came back on while we went to look for an atmosphere. The WiFi was bad, we relied on our 4g instead. The TV couldn't get a signal so we couldn't watch anything. The hob didn't heat up properly which made cooking a challenge. And we got invaded by ants on night 2 so had to find somewhere to throw our binbag and use a shopping bag for a new one. So lots of small annoyances. But the property was nice. Aircon and water worked. Parking was available and much easier than other properties. Pretty good location although getting into split can involve a lot of traffic. Beach is nice. Not cheap either. Paid more per night than in Dubrovnik. So it was okay, but disappointing for our final few nights.

Fantastisk utsikt, och bra motion att ta sig upp för den branta backen till boendet. Mycket trevlig dam som var värd för boendet, men hon kunde ingen engelska vilket begränsade kommunikationen för oss.

Prima kamer, prachtig uitzicht, aardige gastvrouw

Mooie locatie met prachtig uitzicht en slechts paar minuutjes lopen naar de zee. Iets verder van centrum, dus wel auto nodig. Erg spannend straatje om omhoog te rijden (steil). Kamer prima, alles aanwezig en netjes. Aardige en vriendelijke gastvrouw, spreekt alleen geen Engels. Tuin voor de kamer is ook fijn! Beneden aan de hoofdstraat gaat buslijn 60 naar Split.

Fin utsikt, hyggelig vertskap

Veldig fin beliggenhet opp en bratt bakke fra en fin strand. Hyggelig vertskap, men virker som det er mange langtidsboende på stedet. Utearealene er av privat karakter og føles ikke konfortabelt med å bruke. Det er ikke basseng selv om det står på beskrivelsen. Utsikten er nydelig, og fin parkering. En bør har bil i dette området..til tider mue trafikk og køer inn til Split. Leiligheten er greit utstyrt.
