"The Mercure Tbilisi old town is in wn excellent location, the privilege rooms have a lovely view on the river, and they are large and comfortable. But what makes the hotel extra special is the staff. I unfortunately had a health scare in the middle of one night and they have been extraordinary. Highly recommended."

"Great hotel, location was excellent, concierge was particularly helpful. Breakfast had a lot of very good choices and staff were very accommodating. Highly recommend this hotel. I told the concierge that we hoped that the other hotels we will stay at on this trip (6) will be as good as this one."

"Location was very central and convenient. Close to a lot of restaurants and coffee shops. The hotel is a bit dated but fairly well maintained. The room was very spacious and super clean. Bed and bedlinen were absolutely luxurious. We had a room on a high floor and the views were incredible! The views from the pool, sauna and the gym are absolutely amazing!!! Unfortunately, the steam room in the ladies spa didn't seem to work and was a bit smelly inside. Few times there was no water in the water cooler in front of the sauna, which was a bit disappointing for a 5 star hotel. I could see a lady cleaning around but for some reason some of the loungers didn't seem to have been cleaned. There was a bill left on a table by the loungers in the pool, which was left there for 2-3days, which makes you wonder if the area is been cleaned? Overall, enjoyed our stay but it wasn't quite the 5 star standard you would expect."
