The kitchen was fully equipped had a full size fridge freezer and even had a washing machine if you wanted to use it. There was plenty of clean linen and towels. The pool area was excellent plenty of sunbeds. Jose and Pedro who looked after the pool area were very attentive and made sure they looked after you.

The location is great for everything, in a lovely complex with bars and restaurants. 10 minute walk to beach and the same to the centre of town. The apartment was nice and had everything you should need, even a washing machine. Bathroom look ready for a cosmetic upgrade, mirror surround crated. Nothing that spoilt our holiday and we would definitely book again. Cleaners came every 3 days and kept on top of bedding and towels etc.

Just great!

Convenient location, well maintained, spacious lounge and kitchen, well equipped, large separate bedroom. Friendly welcome from attentive staff. Easy parking. Short walk to boardwalk, beach and restaurants. Use of marble gives upmarket appearance.

We stayed in a 4 bed apartment which was light & airy. Our room overlooked the pool area, however the balcony is a little small for a family of 4. The apartment was spotless, despite being quite dated. The kitchen was well equipped and everything worked fine. There is a lovely big pool area with loads of sun beds. Our only contact with staff was when we checked in. We already know the area well, so didn’t really need to ask for information, however I expected a little local information to be available in the apartment, but it wasn’t. There are plenty of cafes and bars beneath the apartments, but it was never noisy. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay. The accommodation is clean, safe and secure and we would certainly recommend.

Great customer service

Reception staff really pleasant and helpful. Some parts of the exterior needs some attention especially near the garden view. The pool area is kept clean and tidy and the 2 guys who look after it were very friendly and attentive. Overall the customer experience was really good

Nice tidy and cheap

Other than the weather being terrible (I'm not saying it could be helped) the place was nice, the staff were accommodating and knowledgeable. I wasn't happy with the noise the workmen were making but they were doing a job.

I stayed with my daughter in a small apartment for 8 days in February . Location is very convenient, 10 min walking to the beach. The people in the office is very nice to deal with and helpful. You can find everything you need in the kitchen, enough towels, and very handy to have a washing machine. We'll definitely come back and highly recomed this place.

We had a very pleasant stay at Dunas Alvor. The apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean – a big compliment to the housekeeping team! The location is also excellent: a big supermarket around the corner and just a short walk from both the beach and the town center, making it a perfect base for a relaxing holiday. What really stood out was the exceptionally friendly and helpful reception staff – always welcoming and ready to assist with anything. All in all, a great stay with good value for money!

We had a wonderful time at Dunas do Alvor, pool is absolutely great and run so well by the 2 lifeguards. Sabastian was one of the guys (probably have that wrong) and cant think of other mans name, but both were just great. Sharon at the reception was so helpful and went out of her way to help us with anything we needed.

We had a great time on south coast of Portugal and big part of that was Torralvor apartment, it had everything we needed for comfortable stay. Fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, big fridge and it was cleaned to good standard. 5 min away you can find excellent walkways over the marshes by the see, which is refreshing in the early morning, the sea is 10 minutes away with its beautiful extended beach with some rock formations for photos. Don’t forget to visit Lagos as well, simply beautiful town.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour. L’hôtesse était très gentille elle nous a montré la chambre puis expliquer quelques petits trucs. La piscine est grande et sympathique. Il y a plusieurs petits resto/ snack autour ce qui est sympa quand on est a la piscine la journée. Pour le point négatif : la chambre donnant côté rue est très bruyante, il y a beaucoup de traffic et l’insonorisation est inexistante. Il y a aussi eu des travaux, bref il ne faut pas avoir le sommeil léger du tout ou demander une chambre côté non rue. Sinon notre séjour s’est bien déroulé !

Great for a laid back holiday

Excellent apartments, great location, easy walk to the beach which clean and plenty of sun loungers. The small town of Alvor has plenty of restaurants and bars. No free WiFi in rooms but can purchase but most restaurants and bars have free WiFi not a greet problem.
