The apartment has a great location, set right in the heart of the historical centre, in the street Rua Mouzinho da Silveira, one of the most historic and picturesque streets of Porto. The apartment is situated in the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Ribeira area and 5 minute walk from the Douro river, where you can cross the Dom Luis I Bridge and visit the famous Port Wine Cellars. Palácio da Bolsa and Rua das Flores are 2 minute walk and Clérigos Tower and Lello Bookshop are 8 minute walk. In the surroundings there is an amazing variety of local and high end restaurants, trendy shops and bars with terraces. It's placed in a centenary building totally renovated in 2019, keeping the old facade. The apartment offers a stylish, elegant and superb décor, with beautiful and unique details and high end custom made furniture signed by the Interior Design company- Mundos Perdidos. Bedding and Towels are of high quality of the well-known portuguese brand- Piubelle. Bath amenities are from the lovely portuguese company- Lousani. An entire apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, on the 2nd floor (steps + elevator) with 100m2. Capacity for 1- 4 people with a master suite with a king-size bed and another bedroom with 1 queen bed. There is a lift in the building and a great balcony facing the Rua Mouzinho da Silveira. The kitchen is modern and fully equipped (fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, oven and stove, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, ...). Also included: \* Free Air Conditioning, Cable TV, and Wi-Fi; \* Bed linen & towels, hairdryer, shampoo, shower gel and cap, soap, and body cream. We stayed in the apartment for a month, and it accommodated us perfectly. The flat is spacious and the views are outstanding. The kitchen is well equipped and the washer/dryer combo came in handy. The grocery stores, pharmacies and restaurants are right outside the front door. The A/C was just what we needed on the unusually hot days we experienced. I wouldn’t think twice about staying here again. We were received by our host who provided us with extensive recommendations of what to see, where to eat and which tours to take. The apartment is beautiful with local art, fabulous doors that open to the view and a great kitchen. The beds are very comfortable and we loved the robes and slippers. We highly recommend this stay. At the end of the day, after many many steps taken to view fabulous Porto - we loved sitting in the living room and relaxing with a great glass of wine! The location is the very best! Clean and well stocked...everything you'll need - the washer/dryer and elevator were really helpful as we were on a 2 week trip. There were even robes, slippers and chocolates laid out on the beds. And oh the view... oh that view!! From the beginning of the rental process the communication was excellent with the office as I had questions about the area. The apartment is centrally located with plenty of restaurants nearby along with several markets to purchase fresh produce and other sundries. We rented a car from Lisboa to Porto and got in much later than anticipated. I kept in contact with the office about our arrival time and we were met with the keys upon our arrival. The gentleman even left his dinner early to meet us. The check in process was very easy and we were shown around the apartment and questions were answered. We were also sent ideas of places to visit with contact information. We rented 3 different places on our trip and honestly this property and the customer service was the BEST!! We wished we would have stayed in Porto longer and rented here longer than 3 nights. The only downside was the construction nearby which was loud sometimes. However, everything else was so perfect that we are still so happy we rented here. We will be back!! Thank you to the team for your hospitality and customer service. ##### C P. The apartment itself was as lovely as shown in the photos with great views of the Ribeira and good light during the day. The kitchen was well stocked on arrival and we were glad to have a combo washer and dryer. The rooms were very comfortable with plentiful towels and the robes and slippers were a great touch! The location is perfect for exploring the city center and the host provided plenty of recommendations for places to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is in a fantastic location, between the Sao Bento train station and the river area. All the top sights were easy to walk to. The apartment was clean and comfortable, and had large windows making the apartment very bright and giving us great views of the area including the river in the short distance away. Communication from check in to check out was excellent. Joana even helped arrange transportation for us to the airport and suggested a secure luggage storage company right around the corner from the apartment. We would definitely stay here again! Street signs in Porto are hard to find and often don't exist. Following on line directions is almost impossible. We went around in circles for 45 minutes looking for the apt. Our host was inconvenienced and wondered what our problem was. We were never warned about the high cost of parking in the nearby parking lot we were directed to by our host. It was $102 for less than 48 hours. All shocking. The apt was great and centrally located. I'd never again have a car in Porto. ##### Ross S. The apartment is as beautiful and the photos show. Everything in the apartment was first class. The beds were very comfortable; the bathrooms big and modern, the kitchen and living room were spacious and inviting. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked perfectly and the small safe was a wonderful bonus. The location could not have been better—close to so many restaurants, shops, the river and Gaia. The host Joana was incredible. She was always responsive and helpful. She provided a lot of information regarding restaurants and sights. Be aware there is heavy construction next to the apartment, but we got used to it after a bit and it did not bother us. Very safe and secure. You can see down several streets and even to the river. Had no problem meeting Valentim for the check in. The apartment was clean and the beds very comfortable. It has a small safe for money and passports; iPads and larger items will not fit. It has a combo washer/dryer. One item of note. There is construction going on right outside the apartment for the city’s subway extension. Work was going on pretty much 24 hours a day. While there is some construction noise, it wasn’t particularly bothersome. Ear plugs were provided in the apartment. Not sure when the work is scheduled to be concluded.
