The room was small with just the basics but very comfortable and tidy, with a good bed and shower. Depite this motel’s location near a highway, no noise disturbed my sleep. The staff were courteous and helpful. Price waa significantly lower than hotels in downtown Potsdam which were price gouging on a holiday weekend. A great deal!

Classic roadside motel with modern amenities and a friendly staff. Easily the best value in Potsdam. The room was clean and perfectly functional. Met my needs and was the perfect jumping off point to spend time in the area. The rooms are small functional spaces, not ultra modern higher end hotel rooms. If you’re looking for a clean space to sleep and recharge, you won’t find a better value in the area.

When I first checked in she was over charging me. Said there was a $20 fee for using my credit card. I said I would go get cash then, and she instantly waived the fee. Next I told her I was traveling with my dog and she was charging me $40 per night. I said the fee was $30 per night and her response was she had rented out the last 2 rooms where dogs were allowed. I said the dog fee was online at 30 so she did charge me a total of $60 for the 2 nights. My room had a sign mentioning the 30.00 dog fee. Room was very small and quite hot. Had a window air conditioning unit that was loud and never cooled the room. Property was clean. What you would expect from a roadside non chain. I really like the direct doors to outside. Location was great and the clients weren’t scary I’ve stayed in places I’ve been scared.

Staff was helpful. The Motel is about 70 years old with its 1950s charm with many nice updates like new shower linens and furniture. This was our 4 th stay at this property.
