Comfort and good service

Came here on our honeymoon and boy was that a bit of a mistake, I had read that Menorca was very family friendly but what I didn't realize was just how many small children would be running around everywhere, the acoustics in the place is awful so prepare not to get any sleep with tiny children screaming in the hallways. Tried to enjoy the pool and couldn't because very 5 seconds a child was doing a cannonball and there's no "adult only" areas. The room was nice but very small, the bed was comfy which was nice. The breakfast buffet was the only redeeming quality. We also got scammed into "valeting" our car for 15 euro- more like they park your car in a dirt lot and then hand you back your key and tell you where to find your car, we learned quick that the dirt lot nearby is open to the public and we can park there whenever we want so we basically paid 15 euro just to have someone move our car to a public lot when they could have just told us how to get there so we could move it ourselves. I also ordered a chicken caesar salad from the lobby restaurant and it came with a bunch of anchovies on top even though it doesn't say that on the menu, I asked for extra chicken since there was only like 3 tiny pieces and they charged me 8 euro for 3 tiny thin strips of dry chicken it was outstanding. in the end we still had a good time because we left the property a lot to avoid the screaming children but needless to say this is definitely not a place for couples looking for relaxation!

The place is really nicely done. Five Star for the farmhouse character. We stayed 7 nights. Service failed most of the time at breakfast and for dinner. We had a friendly, but very unexperienced staff. Better you bring some resilience along with your vacation mood and just get the cutlery yourself. There are worse things in life. However, it’s not what I expected given the price tag. Room: if you have neighbours who are thoughtfulness, you will be fine. If you have other neighbours, again, the resilience will help you to overcome the noises from old doors and original locks. Avoid room 38, as you are squeezed in-between two others rooms, which simply increases probability. Plus is definately one of the most silent Air conditions - really quiet and well functioning. I would come again, but more for two nights rather than seven nights.
