We had a wonderful and relaxing few days in this beautiful oasis near Mahon. Enjoyed cooling down in both pools and the gorgeous garden which surrounds and is home to happy tortoises 🐢. Breakfast was fab and the service from the girls was exceptional. A fab base to explore the island!

Stunning hotel and the spa is definitely a must! The concierge was fantastic, she was extremely helpful with everything from parking, things to do (and how and when to do them), and overall a lovely person. We didn't have breakfast included but had breakfast one day in the restaurant. The room was gorgeous, very comfortable. Highly recommend and we will definitely stay here again.

My experience at this hotel was very disappointing, especially considering the price. I paid approximately $316 per night for three nights (about $1,000 in total), so I expected a much higher level of service. From the moment I arrived, I encountered several disappointing issues. There was no toilet paper in the room when we checked in, and we urgently needed to use the restroom. I actually had to take a shower first just to deal with the situation until we could get more. The room itself was small and very ordinary for the price, and there wasn’t even a luggage rack or any space to open a suitcase, so I had to leave mine open on the floor.The hotel provides only one small bottle of water for two guests, and if you ask for additional bottled water, they charge you for it. At a hotel in this price range, complimentary bottled water should be a basic amenity. I was also informed that towels are changed only every three days and that if you request fresh towels sooner, you may be charged. On a beach island, where guests often shower multiple times a day, this policy is completely unacceptable. I had to request clean towels on my fourth day before they finally provided them.Another major disappointment was breakfast. I arrived late on my first night, and the following morning I went down for breakfast at 10:45 a.m., just 15 minutes after breakfast service had ended. The breakfast buffet was still set up, and the reception staff were eating breakfast themselves, yet I was refused

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Bahia in May 2026. I really enjoyed the character of the hotel, particularly knowing that it is family-owned and was the first hotel ever built in Menorca. It gives the hotel a lovely sense of history and charm. They even gave me a lovely little keyring featuring the traditional Menorcan sandals, which was such a thoughtful touch and a nice keepsake from my stay. The location was excellent and made it very easy to get to and from Ciutadella, with great transport links nearby. The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning and were definitely one of the highlights of my stay. I also felt very safe as I was travelling alone. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff were lovely throughout my visit very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The staff really do go above and beyond for you. I particularly enjoyed the dinner options, which were lovely and offered a good selection. I felt that the breakfast options could have had a little more variety, though. The room amenities were also a little limited; I had to borrow an iron, and there wasn’t a kettle in the room, which would have been a nice addition. I would say that Hotel Bahia isn’t a luxury hotel, so it’s important to set your expectations accordingly. However, once I appreciated the hotel for what it is a family-run hotel with history, character, beautiful views and a great location, I was able to enjoy it more.
