Wonderful experience during our stay. Very cool old venue. Very clean and comfortable room, with great public space. Staff were courteous and attentive to all of our needs. The restaurant is amazing. The bartender brings great life and vibrance to the experience. Wednesday night prix fixe option was well worth it (along with live music in the bar area that apparently has been going for 20 full years). We really appreciated the warm and hardy breakfast that was made in-house from fresh ingredients. The room was big and very comfortable. We would definitely return here and recommend to friends. However, the hotel lacks proper maintenance and cleanliness. The sink was clogged and we had to pull out the sink stop for the water to drain, which pulled up a lot of hair. We also found hair in the bed and one of the pillow case was so dirty and stained that we removed it from the bed. Mold in the caulkings left a dirty impression of otherwise a great hotel. Be aware and travel light when coming to this hotel.
