(so we had two reservations for three nights) I received a phone call at 12:15 after the first night to inform us that since we hadn’t checked out of our room by 11 we would be charged $75\. I tried to explain that we had two separate reservations for three nights. The young man very rudely told me that it had been explained that we would need to check out on the second day and it absolutely was not. I just assumed that after checking in the person would know we had another reservation that extended for two more nights. The young man I spoke with was just horrible. I explained I was there for a funeral and this was very upsetting. Finally, the manager called me back to apologize and took care of it for us. The front desk attendant told her the room was cold because heat rises and the rooms on the bottom were colder. He then gave her a blanket, made no offer to move her to a different room and said there was nothing else he could do because maint would not be back until the next morning. When she attempted to check out early and have the money returned to my card for the second night, she was told the manager would have to approve it and she was on vacation for another week. Our room was listed for 4, but only had 1 king bed without a pull out couch. The hallway and outside hotel smelled strong of weed.
