“Nice hotel about 5 minutes drive from the centre of Letterkenny, with easy access from the highway and a nice pub in the hotel premises. Tasty Irish style breakfast.”
“Poor communication and customer service.
We booked for one night only and we waited for an hour for someone to come to let us in. When someone arrived to let us up to the apartment, we were told it was still being cleaned so we dropped our bags and had to wait until 5:30pm to access the room.
Had we known we could not access the unit until 2.5 hours after normal check-in time we would have booked elsewhere.
Alex, the guy we dealt with over the phone, was unhelpful and rude saying its our……
“This was a great hotel to stay at in Ballybofey. We loved the central location, as well as accessibility to parking. The included Irish breakfast was outstanding, as well as the other restaurants and pubs in the hotel. The staff are exceptionally friendly, and everyone is made to feel at home. We will definitely stay here if we ever visit this area again.”

“The room was spotless and spacious. The only drawback was, it was at the front and the traffic could be heard passing through the night.
The staff were very pleasant and welcoming.
Breakfast was excellant and set you up for the day ahead.
We only used the bar on our first night for an evening meal. The food was very good and the Guinness hit the spot.
All in all a very good hotel and would stay here again.”

“Expedias states there is a restaurant and pizza may be available at the hotel. There is no restaurant at the hotel. You have to drive several miles to find somewhere to eat in the evening. It mentions there is a bar at the hotel. There is no bar. What it means is there is a room where you can bring your own beer/wine that you’ve bought elsewhere. The rooms are cold and it takes an age to get any hot water. On a positive, the young staff we met were very friendly, though both had only been there……
