“Der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel war leider eine große Enttäuschung und steht in keinem Verhältnis zum aufgerufenen Preis. Bereits bei der Sauberkeit gab es deutliche Mängel: Eine Reinigung fand nicht statt, Müll musste selbst entsorgt werden und sogar Toilettenpapier mussten wir eigenständig organisieren – das ist absolut inakzeptabel. Auch das Essen konnte in keiner Weise überzeugen. Es war geschmacklich sehr fad und wenig ansprechend, dazu wurden unter anderem braune, überreife Bananen……

“Lovely, lovely. The proprietors and cook are friendly and considerate. There are many interesting features in the home, its decor, and the gardens. Our room (the Belvedere) was spacious—bedroom with sitting area, bathroom, living room with sitting area. The delicious breakfast was multiple courses and served on authentic heirloom quality dishes.
