“Have stayed here more than once and will continue becsuse staff very friendly, clean and convenient to other things.”

“Do not book here!!! Exterior appearance was ok. So hot when I walked in I started sweating while checking in. The whole building was 80+ degrees. The "king suite with jacuzzi", was 84 degrees, filthy, and a 3 inch indentation on one side of the mattress. The furnishings looked like they had been picked up off the side of the road. I called front desk to complain and was told that this was the room expedia had booked and to take it up with them. The "Pool" looked like a sewage collection pond.……

“The elevator was being worked on while we were there, maid service was every other week. I had called ahead to ask for hypoallergenic bedding and it was not taken care. Had to have hotel staff bring up new pillows might of check in. Breakfast was a buffet and it cost $15 per person. Would have preferred breakfast included.”

“This hotel always supplies me with what I want; a quiet place to sleep with a decent bed and a fair price. Unfortunately, this June 2026 visit the price seemed to have increased 20-25% so I was sad and cried. I always stay here when visiting Lafayette, so whether I give it 3 or 5 stars don’t matter, I’ll be back. Unless it’s $80/night again. If that happens I’ll never be back and will stay at one of those sketchy hotels on University and save $30.”

“Very friendly staff, clean rooms, comfy beds, and the breakfast was good. The kids loved the indoor pool, that was the main reason we booked City Express. Would definitely recommend and be coming again. Wouldve been nice to have some options of meds to purchase like benadryl, ibuprofen, aspirin but not complaining at all. Really enjoyed our stay.”

“My stay was not very comfortable. The air conditioner was caked with dust/dirt, the paint from the wall was bubbling, falling off the wall, there were holes in the shower, there was such a big gap underneath the door someone literally could have laid down, looked under my door and seen inside the room. My room also had bugs! The cleaning staff was also loud as all get out all hours of the night, slamming doors, slamming their rolling cart all down the hallways. I paid almost $200 for two nights……
