Northern Lights Lodge is a mountain vacation home that has something for everyone! It is located right on Red Lodge Golf Course with amazing views of the Red Lodge Ski resort and Beartooth Mountains. You will appreciate the convenient location with only a 15 minute drive to the ski hill, walk down the street to the golf course clubhouse plus only 1.2 miles to historic downtown Red Lodge.

Day trips to scenic Beartooth Highway, Cook City and Yellowstone National Park can be part of your mountain vacation plans since Red Lodge is the gateway to these majestic areas. Other activities in the area include fishing, hiking, rock climbing, horseback riding, golfing, river rafting, snowshoeing, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, Yellowstone wildlife sanctuary, new city swimming pool, downtown shopping, local brewery and many delicious eateries.

Enjoy a home that has lots of room to spread out! There are 4 private bedrooms, one den open to living room, 3 full bathrooms along with a spacious living area and a large dining room/kitchen ALL ON ONE LEVEL. The back deck is perfect for relaxing, observing wildlife, taking in the mountain views, star gazing, watching golfers and hot tubbing in your own hot tub year round. To enhance the entertainment experience, the garage has been converted into a game room with a foosball table and extra game activites.

You will appreciate the high speed internet, desk workstation in the primary suite, Smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen, gas grill, gas fireplace, indoor and outdoor games, three bikes, two sets of golf clubs, sleds, towels & linens and kiddo needs (pack-n-play crib with sheets, portable young child cot, stroller, wagon, high chair, baby monitor). This house is fully stocked for a wonderful vacation experience!

Quiet hours for the golf course neighborhood are 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. It is peaceful and serene; you will cherish this!

THE VACATION HOME
Sleeping - #1 primary suite with desk workstation (queen bed plus a full size futon). #2 bedroom (queen bed) #3 bedroom (twin bed plus a bunk bed with full on bottom and twin on top) #4 bedroom (queen bed). Den (full size futon). All bedrooms have ceiling fans and large windows.

Bathrooms - #1 primary suite private bathroom (double sinks, large shower) #2 bathroom(tub/shower) #3 bathroom (shower) Our bathrooms are stocked with lots of luxurious towels, basic toiletries and blow dryer so no worries if you forget something!

Great Room - very spacious with Smart TV, internet, DVD, cozy gas fireplace, leather furniture, log accent architecture

Den - scenic viewing with relaxing chairs and futon

Kitchen - Stainless Steel Appliances, gas stove, microwave, drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, crock pot, rice maker, roasting pans, baking dishes, pots and pans, serving platters, dishware, wine glasses, basic spices. Well stocked for family cooking!

Dining Room - large table seats 12 plus 4 bar stools at kitchen island. One highchair.

Game Closet - games and puzzles for all ages. Books, DVDs, toys, barbies.

Garage - Ski racks, foosball table, seating for game area, outdoor games, 3 bikes, 2 sleds, baby stroller, sleds, one set of Woman's golf clubs and one set of Men's golf clubs, Weber Gas Grill. For guest security, there is one exterior security camera located above the outside garage door facing down the driveway only.

Patio - large hot tub, patio table, umbrella, chairs. No congregating or hot tubbing on back deck after 10 p.m. to comply with neighborhood quiet hours.

Family Ski Trip
We enjoy staying at this property for our annual family ski trip. The home layout works great for our mix of grandparents, children, and grandkids. This home is well stocked, always clean, and well maintained. Communications with the owner are excellent. That's why we return year after year!

Used as a retreat for leadership group
We brought 3 couples and 4 kids to stay and do a leadership retreat. This was a great space for that the living room was cozy and had great seating for sitting around and talking. The dining table was spacious for the same reason. Rooms and bathrooms were perfect. The kitchen is on the smaller side but it was fully stocked so that more than made up for the tight working quarters since we cooked all our own meals for the retreat. Overall a GREAT stay.

It felt like home as soon as we walked in the door- so welcoming! The kitchen is amazingly well stocked, from scotch tape to a crock pot! The bathroom includes anything you may have forgotten to pack and the towels are thick and large. The beds are very comfortable. The house furnishings are high-end and the rooms are so tastefully decorated. The niece from the family room is spectacular. We know the Red zlodge area well so it was so wonderful to return to this beautiful home on the golf course to relax together on the deck or visit in the spacious living room by the fire.

Perfect Location - Great Family Home!
We were in town for our son's wedding at the golf club down the street and this was a perfect location for getting to wedding, exploring downtown, or driving into Beartooth Mountain range. Property was extremely well maintained and comfortable for a group of 7 adults. There was plenty of room to spread out, eat large family meals, and bedroom/bathroom layout was great. The views to the mountains were also very beautiful from the back of the house so we spent time in morning or in evening out back on the patio taking in the views and enjoying our time. We had a couple of questions about logistics on our stay which were promptly answered by Mary. Would definitely recommend this property for anyone travelling to Red Lodge area!

Wonderful Vacation Home
This is our 2nd time staying at Mary's home in Red Lodge; and similar to our previous stay, it was excellent. The home is spotless and well laid out for a large group. Additionally, the kitchen is thoughtfully stocked with all the cooking "gear" we needed to prepare meals for our group of friends. Highly recommend this home as basecamp for exploring the Beartooths!

Perfect for a multi-generational family trip
This rental was a wonderful, spacious home for our trip to Red Lodge with our college-aged kids and my 80-year-old parents. There was plenty of room for us all, and our kids really appreciated not having to share bedrooms! Everything was clean and well-kept, and the decor was welcoming and luxurious. The kitchen had everything we needed, and even some pantry staples. The towels were plentiful and thick, there was a huge basket of towels for the hot tub, and it was especially nice that there were a multitude of towel bars, plus hooks in every room. The hot tub was a nice place to relax after a day of hiking, and we enjoyed seeing deer wander by several evenings while we were out on the patio. The neighborhood was peaceful, and the mountain views were spectacular. The communication from the owner was timely and clear, and the property manager was easily available to answer the one question we had during our stay. We would highly recommend this home and would eagerly stay again on a future trip to Red Lodge.

Northern Lights Lodge reunion and revival
Since the passing of my best friend several years ago I’ve been coming here with his two daughters, one who is married with three young kids, and a couple of the girls’s cousins. My late buddy’s brother and sister will usually stay in town at the Pollard hotel. This will be our second year at the northern lights home which is a lovely, well cared for newer home on the golf course with beautiful mountain views out the backyard. We love it here and always feel sad to leave after our one week annual reunion. Mary, the owner of the home is always very gracious and helpful. Will be back next year! Thank you and bless you, Mary!

We had a family reunion with several family members staying. The kitchen was well stocked as I do a lot of cooking. The towels were so thick and amazing. There are several seating areas to have different conversations. If we come back, I would rent the place again.

Family Friendly Stay
Great home for 2 families of 4 (8 total people). Mary is a great host and communicator! Mary truly wants the stay to be comfortable and enjoyable. The home is in a great location (easy access to town and mountain) and has a nice layout to enjoy at the end of the day skiing. The kitchen has basics for cooking, bathrooms have basic toiletries and lots of towels, and bedrooms have plenty of blankets. Mary has lots of toys and games for kids of all ages! Great experience! Great ski trip!
The Hot tub was perfect after a day of skiing. Then we loved sitting in front of the fireplace. The house was well stocked with everything we needed including a ton of games, and great kitchen. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
