“Liked: Staff was very helpful. Pool and hot tub were inviting, attractive, and appeared clean. Pool towels were very soft. Breakfast was adequate, and selections changed day to day. Our room was quiet. Front entryway was comfortable with seating. Parking was convenient. Not so much: When staff took breaks together, they smoked, and due to building configuration, smoke drifted into walkways and guest rooms if doors were opened and then closed.”

“It appears that the composite flooring in the room was recently installed but needed to be ..mopped. Water dripped from our cooler which was wiped up with a cloth indicated a very dirty floor. Too, walking with slippers also indicated a very dirty floor. Wall and beds looked very clean. Pillows were hard and flat. The plumber that did the upgrades in the bathroom at the sink evidentially did not know that the hot water handle is on the L and not on the R. Additionally, there was no……

“We were greeted by our contact person, Gail, who is friendly and personable. And a terrific artist as you will see when you are on the property. This is a very cute, fun and artsy apartment. We used the bedroom at the front of the house and found it roomy and the bed is very comfortable. The water pressure is outstanding and the hot water arrives almost instantly. The kitchen is fully stocked. Just bring your own food. We will definitely book a room here when we are near Winchester Bay again.”

“The property was old and definitely in need of repair. Towels provided were gray and rough on the skin. Bed was comfortable and television worked well. The price was right for shag one receives.”

“When you enter the property, it feels like you're entering the Redwoods. Trees and glowing plants everywhere, very inviting. The rooms are named after places in Oregon. We stayed in 4 (Deschutes). We were able to park steps from the room. When we entered the room, it wasn't like any of the pics on the Expedia website, but that's ok. Rustic feel to the rooms. Yes, I said rooms. We thought it would be one space but it was actually 2 separate bedrooms with a door, much to our delight. The king……

“Breakfast was meh, room only turned over every 3 days instead of daily. For the $ spent per night I felt this was substandard. Otherwise very clean and had everything you need, staff was exceptionally helpful and a great location.”

“The room was clean but the room had dents in the wall and one of the one of the boards at the base at the floor was taped together. I ask for a handicap room and it had a shower with no chair to sit on it or in it. I tried to shower but was afraid I would slip.”

“We chose this place because it had a pretty good rating for the price. However, we don’t understand how it got that rating. We didn’t like anything about it. It needed upkeep badly; the room was small and crowded; the bathroom had no counter whatsoever so there was no where to put our items; the toilet had a leak and would run every now and then; the sheets and towels may have been clean, but they were not white and not soft; if the room had heat, we sure couldn’t figure out how to get it; and……

“The room did not have ac, also the shower valve would not stay at one temperature. The hand real aliens were not fixed to the building and the stairs are super steep.”

“This room was absolutely filthy. Rat droppings in every corner and behind all furniture, blood stained blankets, IV drug use supplies in the nightstand. Staff refused to refund even though we left 15 minutes after we arrived. Expedia refused to refund despite photograph evidence and a receipt from the other model we stayed at last night. Absolutely do not recommend staying at this motel and absolutely encourage you to book via a service that will actually back the customer.”
