"It’s a really unusual and unique place with stunning views of the mountains. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has lovely food. We had a lovely suite with a large window seat. The drive up is quite difficult as we had a larger vehicle. It would be good to advise guests of this in advance and/or provide an option at the bottom of the village lanes for parking. All in all we had a very memorable stay."

My stay was on a Monday, the hotel rest day - check-in staff very helpful, but thereafter you are on your own. "The host was fantastic and really helped us out and went out of his way to help after we accidentally locked ourselves out. Beautiful scenery all around and we found some stunning walks. The house was very clean. Just a note if you are bringing dogs, there is a dog close by who guards the cows and our dogs were frightened by the barking. I think some information leaflets on local walks/attractions would have been helpful. We did have a nice stay and the jacuzzi was lovely."

"We had a lovely week in this apartment in Riaño. Check in was well communicated and went smoothly. Communication with the owner was always friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious. We were able to park on one of the recommended streets each time we returned from a trip out... we were just a couple of minutes walk further away on the Saturday afternoon (in peak season)Just be aware there is no oven in the kitchen and just two cooking rings, but we managed fine and our daughter cooked us some great patatas bravas there. Two local shops have the basics, but worth a half hour drive to stock up once if you are preparing meals. We thoroughly enjoyed a range of activities on and around the reservoir with Ubuntu Aventuras. "
