Electric heating (included in the rates). Access to the atypical 372 m² enclosed private garden (bordered by a small river) located in the old moats of the city by an internal staircase. Shaded terrace. Free parking on the street. Center of Richelieu approx. 250 m away. Charging point for electric vehicles 200 m away. Near the Parc de Richelieu. Cape and Sword Festival, Locomotion, truffle market are among the many events in the city. Non-smoking accommodation. Classified as a "Small Town of Character", Richelieu, the "Ideal Town" created by the Cardinal, is one of those gems where it is good to live and stay. Anyone who loves history is inevitably seduced by this atypical cottage built within the city walls, facing the rampart. The sobriety of its facade hides a cocoon, where the charm of the old stones operates and where the decoration and the garden greatly contribute to the well-being of the place. Sophie and Benoît, passionate, will be able to describe the history of the place and share their love of their land where old stones, gastronomy (we are here in the Land of black truffles and Chinon wine) and preserved nature coexist wonderfully. Nearby, the castles of Rivau, Chinon, Azay-le-Rideau and a little further those of Amboise, Chenonceaux, Saumur but also the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud or the Richelieu-Chinon greenway by bike are an inexhaustible source of intense emotions.
