“I can recommend this townhouse, which abuts the Lansdowne Park Lifestyle Community, for anyone wishing to stay in close proximity to or visit with friends living in Lansdowne Park. It was wonderful to be able to be so handy to the Lansdowne Park community. The house itself is spacious and comfortable and is a welcome retreat at the end of a busy day. I will definitely stay here again the next time I am visiting Masterton.”

“Its a lovely property, right next door to the hosts, who are very friendly and helpful. Master bed is a firm floor bed, which you go through to kids room. Fold out in lounge, lounge is a large room. Kids loved the glass floor in their room! We were 3 adults and 2 kids, probably more suited to 2 adults and 2 kids. We had a lovely peaceful stay. Great to hear the ruru at night :)”

“Nice place for a few days to spend time away from the city. Great location to sit outside reading a book or taking the short walk down to the river. My son loved visiting the guinepig hutch and Zeus the lovely dog who decided on joining us for walkies!”

“This is the second time we've stayed at this special place. We felt very at home in the house, and appreciate that there's lots of room to spread out in. But we especially love the pool and the spa pool and made the most of them. The outdoor table area was great for spending time and eating meals. And the hosts were great, providing good instructions and making us feel welcome in their house. I hope we will be able to visit again!”

“Have stayed here before and love the amount of space there is. 3 toilets and 3 showers meant no queues. Heat pump was on when we arrived so house was really toasty. Large TV we were able to watch sports on.”

“The Homestead was fabulous for our group of 10 adults. Beds, Facilities, Environment was outstanding. Access to the sea and the friendly very welcoming hosts was very special. A wonderful part of the Wairarapa. With many thanks to Glenburn Station”

“It was great! We were testing out travelling with our indoor cat and it was perfect. A very chill spot with lovely people and a comfy, cozy little whare. The pool was awesome, too, though chilly enough to require a bit of bravery. Lots of tūī, pīwakawaka, riroriro, and happy magpies, too. Thank you!”

“We love this place. Bright, light, and sunny, the best thing about it is the sea at the doorstep. You hear the waves at night, see them first thing when you get up, and then walk just a few steps over the road to plunge into them for a swim. The bach is warm too with a really efficient log burner so we were cosy at night. This is our go to place for a few days of real refreshment and pleasure. The sea, the rocks, the hills for climbing, spectacular views from so many angles. It’s a winner.”
