Great location by the colosseum

Nice family apartment by the colosseum. Enzo was very helpful with any questions we had about the property and the city. We would stay there again in the future:)

Great Stay

We had a great stay. Location was close to everything, walkable and safe. Enzo (property owner) was very helpful and attentive as well as communicated promptly. I greatly recommend this place

Great location and very nice host

We had a nice week in Rome in family The flat is big and extremely well located, only significant downside is the lack of sonic insulation. Enzo was very kind to us as well.

Great convenient location! Accommodating owner.

Nice apartment in very good location of Rome. Enzo was very accommodating and even arranged a private transfer to airport after our 4 day stay. Beds could use newer mattresses but overall stay was excellent.

Wonderful experience in Rome!

Enzo was a true joy to work with. The apartment was in a great location. Truly was a wonderful first visit in Rome. Will book again when we come back.

Great location

This place is in a great location, perfect for walking around Rome. We had a great time and it was close to everything! Grocery store just a 5 min walk restaurants all around and just a few min walk to the colosseum. Lots of room for us and our 3 kids. Enzo was very helpful and did a great job of checking us in. He is very prompt on getting us checked in and also checked out. I would definitely recommend this property if you want to stay in the heart of Rome.

Spacious apartment in Rome.

Lovely apartment on first floor in nice neighborhood close to the colosseum. Big enough for the four of us with plenty of extra room. Showers were a challenge with minimal hot water but we just spaced them out throughout the day and night. Enzo is the perfect host!

Spacious apartment near Colosseum

Just back from Rome and we were very pleased with our accommodations! The apartment is in a quiet area and easy walking distance from the Colosseum (8 minutes) as well as numerous restaurants, and only a 20 minute walk from Rome Termini. It was also easy to get a cab from the apartment to farther away locations using the FreeNow app. The apartment had everything we needed for our 5 nights in Rome. And thanks to Enzo for being a great host! Great communication and very friendly!

Location is fantastic!

Location is ideal for Colosseum, Roman forum and Palatine hill. Alter of Fatherland easy walk. We walked to Pantheon and Piazza Navona no problem, took about 20 mins. We even walked from Borguese Gardens and museum but these are a little further north. Enzo is a great host! Easily accessed and responded so fast through what’s app. Apartment is as advertised and has all the basics. No frills but definitely adequate and the location is truly great. At the end of our stay Enzo assisted us with luggage storage near the train station. Oh and use the FREENOW app for any taxi service! Thanks Enzo!

Great place to stay in Rome

My family of four stayed in this apartment for a week over Christmas, and loved it. Enzo met us at the airport and showed us around the apartment, and gave us good advice about restaurants, shopping, etc. The apartment worked well for us; It's a spacious, enjoyable apartment for a family. It was nice being close to the Colosseum, and a short walk to the Metro and train station. The San Clemente church a few blocks away was a hidden gem - four layers of history under a beautiful old church. It was a bit of a trek (~30 min walk) to get to the center of town, to the Vatican, or other hot spots, but walking around Rome is part of the tourist experience, and we enjoyed every step. Communication with Enzo was seamless from our first email through check-out. He's super friendly and helpful. If you stay here, you'll be glad you did.

Excellent location - exactly as advertised

This property is exactly as advertised on HomeAway. It is spacious, well-appointed and comfortable. The location is very central for visiting Rome and taxis, Metro and bus are all very close. Enzo was great to deal with from the start - and he picked us up from the airport (for a fee comparable to what we would pay a taxi) which was nice to have someone we could trust to pick us up. We stayed at the apartment on Friday and Saturday nights and there was quite a bit of noise in the courtyard of the building from the other residents - but you have to expect this when you rent in an apartment building. I read many reviews that complained about the wifi but we didn't have significant problems; it's ok for checking email but not for streaming videos/downloading. Overall this apartment was a very good value.

Fantastic location and friendly host

We are a family of four and spent 4 days in Rome. We loved, loved, loved this location. The apartment was clean and spacious and provided everything we needed. It is an old apartment building, but being only a block away from the Colloseum you wouldn't expect anything else and it added to our whole experience. Enzo, our host, was very welcoming and friendly and always quick to answer any questions we had leading up to, and during our stay. There were a couple of minor details that could be addressed, such as additional dish towels and new scrubbers in the kitchen, but certainly nothing that would prevent us from staying here again or recommending it to our friends. We walked everywhere and could come home during the mid afternoon heat to rest up. Enzo drove us to the airport for our return flight home. Thank you Enzo for your generosity and wonderful introduction to you beautiful city!!

This property (and Enzo) are just wonderful. We were a family of 5 (12,14 &17). The apartment is spacious, clean and charming. Good beds, plenty of pillows etc well kitted out kitchen although apart from breakfast we ate out every meal!! . Shower looks old but is powerful and hot. Location is just fantastic. Can walk everywhere and metro so close if wanting to go further afield. Gorgeous park just across the road leading straight to Colosseum. Enzo was as charming as the flat. We were very delayed due to passport control and he met us with a smile at 11pm!! And came to check us out at 7am on a Sunday. He was kind, helpful and we felt we could contact him with any issues, although we didn’t have any!!!! Supermarket around the corner - will need to grab milk, tea and coffee etc as not really any supplied. But that’s pretty standard. Thank you Enzo. We’ll definitely be back (maybe without the kids!)

Historic Apartment, Perfect Location

We stayed four nights in this apartment with a perfect location for us. Near the Colosseum but within walking distance to other attractions such as Circo Massimo and Plaza Venezia. The metro is also close by for those attractions further away. The apartment is an older building with plenty of character. My husband and I stayed with another couple and there was plenty of room (two bedrooms) . Although there is a smaller hot water heater we were able to schedule showers with one couple showering in the evening and another showering in the morning. The host (Enzo) and his co-worker (Michele) were very accomodating with us arriving early on our first day (we were able to drop our luggage off) and arranging for a cab to the airport for all four of us and our luggage on our last day. The first day we walked walked around the neighborhood learning the best places for coffee, pizza, and groceries. The apartment is also located next to a beautiful park providing a place to get away from the crowds of Rome attractions. I really can't think of anything negative and would highly recommend this apartment.

This apartment is for those who love something a little different to a generic hotel room or a "could be anywhere" styled apartment. It's very old with original tiled floors and furniture and a little quirky, but has a lot of charm.... Although not quite as much charm as Enzo the owner! He is very helpful and kind and makes sure you have everything for your stay, right down to arranging transfers to and from the airport for you if you want (which are excellent). We loved that it was so close to supermarkets and little restaurants. We didn't cook (there are lots of pots, pans and utensils & a stove), but did prepare breakfasts and some lunches. It's very easy to walk everywhere and see everything in Rome and a big bonus to be able to stroll across to see the Colosseum at different times of the day without the major crowds. The apartment is very safe with an external (street) door into the courtyards and then a large entry door. We found it very clean and comfortable and there is a SMEG washing machine. We had the best time and want to thank Enzo for such a fantastic stay, we can't wait to come back ..... some day! Grazie Mille

So You Want a Flat in a Central Location?

This property is less than 500 yards from the Coliseum, and 200 yards from a taxi stand. If you want to call a cab to the front door, the house number is well known. Even if your only Italian language skills consist of spaghetti, lasagna, and pizza; you can easily spell the name of the street and they will find you. If you need to use the subway, the Vittorio Emanuele Station is about a half mile away or a 10 minute walk. On the subway you can easily reach the major attractions in less than thirty minutes. Along the walk to or from the subway, you will find all necessary retail outlets to enhance you stay in Rome. But the greatest attraction for this property is its owner, Enzo. He is a local. He can give you great advice regarding major attractions and local hangouts. He is a consummate patient professional. We were "Covid Cancelled" three times and each time he worked with us to reschedule our trip. We felt like we had become part of his family, and we were going to bring him a gift, but the airlines lost it in transit. In summation, it is a terrific property, in a terrific location, with great character, and a wonderful owner. When we go back to Rome, we will seek this accommodation again.

Nice stay

Love the location and Enzo has been great all along regarding the transportation arrangement and check in process. He met us when we got off the taxi and went through the check in processes in great details and provided excellent directions on supermarket, food and what to do. By being so close to the colosseo we got to enjoy it every night as well. There is no AC in the room and luckily it cooled down at night for us so it was not an issue for us this time. There are two bedrooms which is very nice for 3 of us.

Perfect family stay in Rome

Perfectly located apartment a few short minutes walk from the Colosseum, spacious, clean, tastefully decorated and fully appointed. Enzo the host graciously organised transfers from and to the airport, and gave us a friendly welcome on arrival with a complete run through of how things worked. He also provided recommendations of places to eat and see, all of which were spot on. I’d be delighted to stay again one day if I make it back to Rome.

Simply the best

Our family of 5 stay in Enzos apartment and it was perfect. He arranged transportation from the airport and met us at the apartment. Told us about the neighborhood and where the closest grocery store was, how to get to different places and answered any questions we had. We had a question later and he answered right away. Will definitely visit again and can highly recommend. Thanks for a wonderful time.

Super host, spacious accommodation, great location

We stayed 3 nights in early October and our host Enzo was excellent- very good communications, very responsive and helpful- he organized an excellent private car for our trip to the airport too. The apartment was very spacious and in an excellent location with a view to the coliseum and park. The beds were comfortable and set up as we requested for 2 adults in separate bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and cooking equipment. The shower was great for us - but it might be a bit small for a bigger person. The washing machine was easy to use and drying racks were provided. We would definitely book again if we returned to Rome.

Big apartment in a great location

We enjoyed our stay at Enzo's. The place was beautiful with old world charm. And I can't say enough good things about the neighborhood and location. It was close to sites, amazing restaurants and public transportation.
