“The gardens were incredible. Lots of paths . Very cozy place. Breakfasts were great! The room smelled damp and moldy. Rooms were large and nice except for smell. The bar was fun every night
. Very cozy except for leather couches and chairs that you sank in (really sank in). We stayed 6 days with my family we had 4 rooms. The food was great! Except 90% fish dishes. We were not fish eaters. Last we stayed for the day but they do not serve lunch there.”

“Clean and quiet lodge great for anyone looking for a peaceful stay. A 10 minute walk into the town and a 20 minute bus ride to Connemara National Park which was absolutely stunning. The breakfast was quite good as well for a buffet style arrangement, able to have a full Irish if you so please as well as fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, and oatmeal. The staff were very accommodating as there were huge delays with the rails and a missed train the day we arrived and we didn't get in until after 8 pm……

“Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase.……
