“During the week I stayed at the hotel, I developed a skin irritation on my body. I believe it was caused by the bed sheets, which were contaminated with bacteria. “The staff was nice, the wifi was fast, and everything had been cleaned very well when we arrived, but by the end of our five-day stay, there was a lot of black mold growing on the walls (and even in the toilet bowl). There was no fan in the bathroom, and it was so humid that our towels didn't dry at all (like, wet towels to dry off on following the first use). “Firehouse Inn is filled with olde world charm. Hand painted walls, claw foot chairs, Bose audio system for easy listening, TV and a fireplace in large living room. Dining area can seat multiple guests in comfort. The hospitality is amazing! Donna’s cooking skills are mouthwatering and Mary is the go to person to get you settled in. Our bedroom had a very comfortable bed, lounge chair with ottoman and spotless bathroom. Shower was large enough for two people 👍! Will definitely visit again.”
