“I absolutely loved the fact that I had the mountains and the beach in the same trip!”

“We had a blast down here during the 4th of July week. We saw tons of bears around the property which was really cool since I’ve never seen them other the zoo. The amenities around the property were just amazing we had a blast with pools, lake, and there was so much more to offer. I’d say check in process is a little confusing since we had two locations for the check in and amenity passes. But we figured it out. The only thing that if I had to give a con to was the fencing by the property is……

“This is a perfect stay for just a few nights. Simple breakfast with options, and necessities for purchase if you forget something. Staff was average, and rooms are quite small, with no water pressure. Our room was noticeably damp, and smelled like a wet dog. We would stay again if their one suite was available, and we would limit the stay to 2 nights.”

“Nice , comfortable space. Kitchen had everything we needed. It was a rainy weekend so we didn't use the amenities but the golf course looked nice!”

“The rooms are only separated by a locked door. The person in the room next to us was blasting music all evening. We complained to the front desk, they said they would call the room and have them turn the music down, that never happened. The music blared all night resulting in no sleep for my husband and I, with a 10 hour drive ahead of us. Okay place just to lay your head, but not if you want to get a restful sleep”

“What can I say? Perfect. Not a singular complaint. The hosts were amazing. The cabin was exceptional, with a private balcony, amazing tub, comfortable bed, high-quality bedding and furnishings. Our cabin had a kitchen with everything we would need. The property was exquisite and the saltwater pool and hottub were highlights. Firepit and grill station were clean and inviting. There was very little reason to leave the property (we did for great local food and sights). The hosts are very……

“An amazing stay in the beautifully quiet Blue Ridge mountains. Picturesque Lake Lure is only a short stroll away. Chef Richard prepares a wonderful gourmet breakfast each morning and this definitely not your basic B&B but all at very reasonable prices. Thank you all. I cant’t wait to return.”

“Beautiful property with so many added touches. Complimentary coffee at coffee bar , very generous butler pantry, koozie’s to take home . Everything was top notch ! We enjoyed the front porch as well!”

“I guess Wyndham is buying up all the old crack motels, throwing a coat of paint on them and slapping their name on them. The reviews are deceiving, most of the recent ones say “ good”. I can deal with good. I should’ve known as soon as I got out of my car and smelled the thick odor of Fabuloso, clearly being used to cover other odors up. I asked for a downstairs room because we had a big heavy suitcase but was told no, even though there was hardly anyone staying there. I decided to try to……
