"I had a great stay at the Zen Quito Hotel. My favorite thing about the hotel was the shower, immaculately clean and had one of those over head/rain shower type heads. The breakfast was delicious and the offerings change from one day to another, variety is nice! Would recommend to anyone staying in Quito."

"The Zen Hotel was great. They had a hard time finding my reservation at first but that happens at times. We had 2 rooms during our stay with both being Deluxe Studios with 1 King Bed with sofa bed. The rooms were nice. One had a beautiful view of the city. The room was nice and the bath room had good hot water. WiFI was excellent as well. The breakfast buffet was nice and there were plenty of options. The staff was great. They spoke English and were able to help with our needs. There was armed...

"The hosts are so sweet. Breakfast is very good they will cook eggs and bacon fresh for you. The rooms are very clean with fresh flowers a lovely touch. There is a small bar where you can have nightcap. The area around has lots of restaurants and bars. The square seems a little sketchy but we had no problems and felt very safe. We would recommend a stay at this hotel."

"Friendly staff eager to assist, gorgeous rooms and interior, delicious breakfast, location: if these are important to you and you are looking for an affordable option with upscale rooms available, accommodating for families, look no further! Enjoyed our stay and would return."

"The property feels safer than any I’ve been it.
The interior design is upbeat and unlike your average hotel. Great bedding, great tree top view allowed us to be entertained by mourning doves and hummingbirds. The breakfast was average for this area: eggs, fruit, fruit juice with or without sugar. In house roasted coffee. The manager and staff were efficient and friendly. We particularly liked Fernanda, the woman who served us breakfast on day one off three."

"Definitely recommend staying here. It did not feel like a hostel, more like a boutique hotel. The beds were comfy, friendly staff and a very nice terrace to hang out. "

"Such a pleasure to stay at La Coupole. A beautiful mansion turned into a boutique hotel. Miles, the owner, is a gem. Well located walking distance to the Metro."

"This hotel far exceeded our expectations. The room was huge and spacious, and had amenities like the large jacuzzi tub. It is safe and quiet. We go to Quito a lot, and we usually stay at a different hotel. Because of scheduling, we ended up trying this hotel instead. Hotel Reina Isabel is our new go to hotel."

"The hotel was so cute, well decorated (I love the 'it's a museum' vibe). I love that the artwork inside went with the room name/theme. I had a room with two beds, though I only needed one and it had SO much space. It was a last minute reservation I just needed for one night, but I'm looking forward to returning and staying for multiple nights!"

"The hotel was extremely beautiful, well kept, nicely decorated and the staff including the 24hr security at the door were kind and friendly. Our room was located on the 7th floor. Robinson, one of the front desk personnel was helpful with our check in and our check out. One of my only gripes is an alarm from either a car or a commercial property that went off multiple times every single night. It did not keep us awake, but it was a bit of a nuisance to hear it so often each night. "
"Mi experiencia fue muy grata! Ls atención siempre fue super personalizada. Me gustó mucho el servicio de taxis, los desayunos y la habitación en general "
"Credit card machine not working had to pay extra already for early check in which was more expensive than a day charge on top of that they did have any change so I had to loose more money. If the hotels are especially there for tourists then all the commodities should be working. Last day on the check out the lift was also not working so had drag all my luggage down the floor. No air ventilation absolutely in the room except for one small window which I didn’t want to open as spiders crawling around the window. Not even providing heating even if they are portable in extreme cold weather. Overall I wasn’t impressed at the end because they kinda ripped me off with charging extra and on top of that I have to leave some money because they didn’t have change. Also I would recommend if the hotels are occupied by tourists not all of them speak Spanish. Highly recommend for the front desk people to know English."

There was armed security at the main entrance and this made my family feel even more safe during our stay. "They did not have my reservation, but then checked me in and said all is well. In the morning they demanded that i cancel the reservation to pay (???), and insisted that i pay cash and declined to give a receipt. Claimed it is electronic, took my email, but never sent me anything."

"Absolutely superb personalized service from all staff. Hotel itself is designed for different experience with design & ambience, so achieves that goal well. Street noise & other sounds are present in comparative nature to most centralized areas."
