I arrived at around 1:00 a.m. after notifying the hostel in advance that I would be arriving late. My bedroom was dirty, with visible strands of long women’s hair in at least five different spots. I have pictures documenting this. I informed the front desk, but I was told that nothing could be done and that I would have to wait until the next cleaning service. I expected the staff to resolve the situation or offer me a different room. In addition, the person working the front desk on the night shift spoke continuously throughout the night, laughing and raising their voice until the early morning hours, making it very difficult to sleep. I had specifically requested not to be placed on the first floor next to the front desk, yet I was assigned a dirty room in that area. However, I was told that if I was willing to pay more, they could find me a clean and quiet room. I was not willing to pay extra to compensate for poor service, inadequate cleanliness, and a lack of professionalism and responsibility. This was my fourth stay at this hotel, and it will be my last. They no longer deserve my support as a guest.
