“I took my 2 daughter to La Fortuna for a 5 day and we stayed at Kaylor place. We loved the volcano in the background of his place!!! We loved what his place had to offer! He has a 2 person jacuzzi that my girls loved to soak each night! Beautiful outside area with tv! The Ac in each bedroom was wonderful after a day of hiking in the humidity! Beds were comfortable and each room had a bathroom. Outside upper deck furniture was a nice touch to sit outside and watch the rain! Check in was very……

“We had so much fun here, and it was a wonderful place to come and relax after a day of activities. Very unique cabin, with porch right on the pond. Friendly ducks, dogs, and it was great hearing all of the different bird calls. Very close to restaurants and things, but felt remite and private. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was the small bathroom without much room to put things.”

“We loved our stay here! 10/10 would recommend if you're looking for a non-hotel option to call home at the end of a day of adventures. It's just the right amount of secluded and off the beaten path, while still feeling safe and incredibly homey. It has everything you need inside, we loved the screened in porch to relax on at the end of the night too. It gets quite toasty inside while you're gone without the AC on but luckily there are two ACs to really pump out the cold air and cool things off.……

“We visited La Fortuna for my retirement trip with our 5 grown children and had the absolute BEST time. The house is incredible - well maintained and had plenty of space for 7 adults. The location of the house is perfect! We were just a few minutes away by car from everything that La Fortuna has to offer plus we could literally sit on the back porch and watch a wide variety of birds and monkeys in the trees behind the house. The owners are so easy to work with and had wonderful suggestions for……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Castillo. The terrace had an amazing view of Arenal volcano, and we saw so many birds in the backyard. It was amazing to have coffee in morning and watch clouds roll through valley and listen to birdsong. The location is convenient for getting to Fortuna and nearby parks for hiking, but Castillo feels much more quaint and quiet for enjoying peaceful evenings. We cooked in kitchen and had everything we needed to prepare meals. We also loved Ventanita restaurant……
