“Atmospheric quirky hotel. Retains convent feel. Nice staff; good restaurant at night. Note it doesn’t do breakfast but good cafe nearby. No reception before noon. Good base for Bilbao - on commuter line to central station , one hour trip with regular trains .”

“We had a very lovely welcome from Anna and she told us where to eat etc. Unfortunately, we couldn't stay to explore the area as we were en-route down to the South but the scenary and area looked fantastic as we drove through. The Hotel was lovely and clean and the staff very welcoming. The breakfast was good too.... basic but good.”

“Arrived Tuesday, tired from a long drive from Toledo. Immediately looked after. Room was superb with a great view. Room was very clean, bed was excellent. Food very good. Loved the location of the hotel, after 20 days of travelling around Spain and Portugal this rejuvenated the batteries. An excellent hotel. ”

“Todo estaba perfecto”

“ Aunque el tiempo en Cantabria no es del todo caluroso y es más bien fresquito no quita para que las habitaciones, si no tienen aire acondicionado, tengan aunque sea un misero ventilador. Pasamos unas noches de tremenda calor, sin poder dormir, en una habitación dos metros cuadradros con una ventana estrechísima al exterior por donde no entraba ni gota de aire fresco. Descasamos muy mal esas noches y al día siguiente estábamos reventados para cubrir kilómetros en ver sitios.”

“I have stayed in several parador before and this is the worst parador I have been. The air con was not functioning well, mattress not comfortable. Couldn't sleep well for all night. ”

“Una experiencia para olvidar. Nos sentimos estafados. Ruido en la habitación, frío, limpieza nula y lo de las bañeras y la piscina de aguas termales, de risa! Agua fría también en la ducha de la habitación. Solo queríamos salir de ahí y olvidar este lugar. ”

“Por fuera estaba muy bien, pero las habitaciones dejan mucho que desear, tenía mejor pinta en las fotos y parecía más grande de lo que era en realidad, estaba limpia pero olía muchísimo a humedad. El personal muy agradable sobre todo el chico de cafetería. La piscina externa estaba muy bien y limpia. No recomiendo que cenéis en el local puesto que para el precio que tiene los platos, me pareció muy mediocre la cena y sobre todo el postre,(me esperaba mucho más en calidad y cantidad). No……
