This is a basic property which suited our overnight requirements. We did miss having a coffee pot. It was quiet and the location was convenient. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

Found in a good central location, easy to find, lots of parking options. A little play structure is located outside good for younger children. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. Easy check in and easy check out. Staff were friendly. Sufficient for a one night stay.

The hosts were very friendly. The area is very close to Canatara beach and waterfront area next to the US border. It is also close to a mall for shopping. The room was big enough. Only issue was the window air conditioner which was a bit loud and air was not cool enough.

At our overnight stay within the Gables Inn we enjoyed our overall stay. The rooms were newly updated (we had 2) the beds were comfortable and there was lots of room for activites indoors. The only downfall with the Gables inn is that it’s broadcasted their is a pool for swimming and to our surprise when we arrived it looked like the pool had been closed for many years and instead built a small jungle gym next to it meaning it should have been removed from the ad. The lady working the front desk was friendly and answered any questions we had.

Most of the room such as beds, floors and tub were very clean. Some plates possible from not being used so long needed a rinse before use. A few amenities on the website were not available. The pool hadn't been used in a long time and there was no laundry service. I had a kitchenette and some of the pans had rather loose handles. The beds were very comfy. The frig and freezer worked fine, but I had to plug it in which was rather inconvenient since I had meat I took with me that had started to thaw. Overall, if you want to pay cheap and get cheap, it's fine, but you might consider paying a few extra dollars if you want more than 3 stars.

Location was good and quiet. Enjoyed Sarnia and area but inn was subpar with no coffee maker, hairdryer etc. Room had very poor lighting and was shabby.

It was nice they gave us a kitchenette room which we didn’t book but enjoyed being able too cook, they have some full time residents there that really hurt their business from making it not enjoyable to sit outside , and loud with fights at night time

it was a clean and nice motel

The room was very cool at all times there was no thermostat in the room. It was also -26 outside so that might have something to do with the temperature in the room and once you were in the bed it was good sleeping.
