Bright and Airy with Steeple Views and King Beds by Lucky Savannah

Looking for a relaxing get away without compromising location? Steeple View, on tree-lined Oglethorpe Avenue, is located in one of Savannah's most desirable locations in the heart of Savannah's downtown historic district. Recently renovated, you'll enjoy all of the modern luxuries one could hope for with remodeled kitchen, bathrooms, and stunning hardwood floors! Take the elevator to the top floor of this historic building, built in 1923.

The tastefully designed kitchen offers plenty of cooking space with brand new stainless steel appliances. Just across from the kitchen, you'll find the designated dining space that opens up to the living room. The dining table seats four or is expandable for up to six Lucky guests. The living room is furnished with a sofa that converts into a comfortable Queen bed. A large flat screen television with App streaming access has also been conveniently placed in this space. A full bathroom with shower/tub combo sits just off of the living room.

The primary bedroom can be found just past the living room and offers a King bed, flat screen television, writing desk, ample amount of closet space, and steeple views. Guests will enjoy an ensuite bathroom with shower/tub combo that has been tastefully remodeled. The second bedroom on the other side of the apartment has a beautifully planted window box under a large window that fills the room with natural light, and also has a comfy King size bed, a flat screen television, a writing desk, and a spacious closet.

Perfect For Us

Exactly as advertised and close to almost everything we wanted. My wife were here to visit our daughter, her husband and our grandboys. Admittedly, we cannot review how well all the wonderful appliances worked because we only slept, showered, and napped here.But the space was one block from the best breakfast in Savannah and in spite of being a short distance from a fire station, we only heard sirens during the day. Super clean, super nice, but a little confusing how to find it the 1st time, but the management team was easy to contact and very helpful. We would definetly stay again.

Great location and very nice accommodations. A little noisy, but that's Savannah. Heads up to future VRBOers....the listing says 105 Oglethorpe, but the building says 101; a little confusing but we finally figured it out. I would recommend this property.

Cute place in a great location.

We stayed at the condo for a girls weekend. The space was nicely decorated and clean. The location was very close to shopping and restaurants. Street parking was easy to find. The only thing that could be clarified in the check-in info is that the building number is different than the actual address, so we had to call the management company to confirm where we needed to go. They were very helpful. I would stay here again.

wonderful trip

The location of the property is right in the heart of the historic district. This was a girls getaway. Loved having 2 bedrooms and baths for our stay. The condo was well appointed. We chose to walk/uber which worked perfectly. Highly recommend.

Location, location, location!!!

Top spot with great views on a beautiful street, place was so clean and is something that’s very important to me. The property itself is even better than the building it’s in. Brand new amenities. Everything you could need or want to do in Savannah all right at your fingertips!

Location and Charm

This place was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and absolutely perfect in regards to walking to all the squares, cemeteries, restaurants, and the river district. No car needed. It is indeed loud, the street traffic and sirens feel like they are right next to you, however we used airplugs and slept fine. It was not a deal breaker by any means.

Great but Noisy

Very nice place. Great location. Easy parking. Negative- could hear ALL the street noise and people walking by ALL night as if there were no windows, despite 2 sound machines. Both king beds are 2 joined twins. Felt crack between us, but manager was quick to send matress topper which helped significantly. Would stay there again if these were fixed.

Everything thing here was clean and the rooms were great! Nicely decorated and comfortable with nice bathrooms and beds. The location was perfect. It was within walking distance of almost everything in the downtown area and all of the squares. Even at night walking around was easy and safe. The only negative of this property was that it is quite loud at night. The two major streets that run by on either side of this place have cars and trucks constantly passing. So for most of the night there are loud vehicles and people talking noisily making for a bit of restless night. I would say this place is perfect except for the noise.

Pleasant Property, Centrally Located

This is a comfortable two-bedroom, two-bath unit that was ideal for us in terms of space. It is a bit noisy, not during the day, but rather at night due to motorcycles and revelers on the street. Earplugs can mitigate the problem, but upgraded windows would be a big improvement, as would replacement of a plastic temporary sash. Lobby spaces could benefit from a facelift, and a railing is sorely needed at the lobby stairs. Note that check in time is relatively late and Lucky Savannah charges $100 if you want to check in earlier—a rather off-putting option. These things notwithstanding, we appreciated the central location and had an enjoyable stay.

Great location for Savannah

We parked the car on the street in front and didn’t move it except to get out of the way of the street sweeper. We walked everywhere. It was glorious. Savannah is a super safe city and very walkable, esp from this apartment. Everything inside the apartment was super comfortable and we had all we needed. There was a hiccup upon arrival where the door code would not work, but we called property manager and they were able to fix electronically after a few tries. Unfortunately, we'd just arrived from TX and really needed to use the restroom and get out of the heat after hauling luggage out of the car. In the end, it was a minor inconvenience but did not feel minor at the time. The code worked for the rest of our week in Savannah though so really just an error that was found on arrival. We are a family of 4: mom, dad, and 2 daughters age 16 & 18. This property was as wonderful as the pictures imply.

Bathrooms were cleaned and I appreciated the large storage. Location of the apartment was close to most things (far from the closest market/grocery store). It was noice at night, (ear plugs were provided).Suggestions that would make it great: provide laundry supplies (i bought and left behind), the building inside and out needs so love and care (not at par with the apartment), make the self-checkin process easier. It was SO HARD to understand the instructions of how to get the keys for the apartment.The link to the web page looked great (sent via text), but i missed 90% of what I was supposed to read because of the "access code" immediately given which served no purpose at all. there were so many lockboxes, it was confusing with belong to the apartment. the "code" for the lock box being on the inside cover of the 'lock" without explanation of how to remove the cover.A simple email with step by step instructions would have been reassuring. We were not the only ones with this problem, as the following day we helped a group of three go through the same process as they were confused too.
