"We had a wonderful stay for a summer extended family vacation. The hosts were extremely responsive and check-in and check-out were quite smooth. We had a couple of minor issues with the grill and hot tub that were taken care on the same day we reported them. The home was well-stocked with supplies, dishes, pantry items, etc. The location is incredibly scenic and in a quiet, beautiful area not far from town. There are many hikes nearby and a ranch with donkeys and horses next door. There are a few areas for improvement, but the positives far outweighed any negatives. Areas for improvement: 1. Back deck is very nice, but no shade so it was quite hot when the sun was out in the afternoon. 2. Appliances were a bit dated, for example dishes not always clean after running through the dishwasher and some of the clothes had strange spots after running through the washing machine. 3. Some rooms were warm and didn't have good air flow, even with overhead fans turned on. Overall, these issues did not detract from the overall quality of our stay. I would give an overall rating of 4.5/5. "

"The Lodge at Mountaineer Square is a fantastic place to stay in Crested Butte. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is perfect—right in the heart of the mountain. The rooms were exceptionally clean, and the beds were super comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day outdoors. Another great perk is the free bus service into town, which runs regularly and makes exploring downtown Crested Butte hassle-free. Highly recommended for a comfortable and convenient mountain getaway!"

"Our family enjoyed 2 nights in this beautiful condo. Great views of mountains from our balcony. Everything was very tastefully furnished, clean and amenities were as described. So close to hiking trails that we enjoyed for 2 days,and just 3 minute drive to Crested Butte shops and restaurants. Only negative was the front door locking and unlocking. It was very difficult to operate."

"Lovely condo with high ceilings and huge windows. Well-decorated. We loved sitting on the balcony in the morning and seeing the stars at night. Very convenient to town and to nearby hiking trails. Kitchen was well-designed and well-supplied. We hope to come back next year!"

Except when we arrived we parked to the side in front as suggested only to unload and not even 10 min later after bringing up our stuff to unload a local neighbor came after us and nocked on our door rushing us to move car. We understood the rules but we weren’t even there that long so it wasn’t a good first impression or very good hospitality. I can understand if it was there for 30 minutes or something. After that though we had a lovely time and the room was perfect."

"Condo was perfect for our family of 5. It was super clean, very comfortable, bedrooms large, had everything we needed so we didn't have to reach out to Richard and Donna much, but when we did, they were super responsive and accommodating. It was very easy to get to the slopes which is necessary for our family as we are often on different schedules and constantly in and out. Condo door is right inside the building door which, at first, we thought we wouldn't like, but it ended up being perfect... no flights of stairs in ski boots. Right inside the condo door is a spacious hallway with a long bench, large cubbies, and lots of spots for hanging gear and keeping it out of the way and out of sight. Ski racks right outside the door were wonderful too.To address a few things in other reviews... plenty of room for a family of 5. There are small TVs in the bedrooms which helped if need separation while relaxing. You can hear footsteps from above, it isn't horrible and really only noticeable early morning, white noise would drown it out. They have 2 air purifiers which we didn't run but I'd imagine would provide the white noise needed. There was a bit of a smoky smell when we first arrived but it quickly dissipated and became non-existent for the rest of our stay. I'd imagine it is because of the wood burning fire place and just needed to be aired out a bit.Bottom line, we all very much enjoyed our stay and would go back!"
