"The room was smaller than advertised. Didn’t have a much space. The bathroom was stylish but the shower drain didn't work and flooded the bathroom. Also no hot water from the shower. What saved it a bit was the friendly hotel manager and the nice beach lounge across the road. "

"It's a well-located about 10 minutes walk from Galle Fort and less than 5 minutes walk from the railway station. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with good air-con and a fridge. The breakfast is good and the staff are helpful. The pool is also nice. The only downside is that the wi-fi was strong some of the time, but very patchy and slow at other times. Apart from this issue, it's a great place to stay."

I appreciated the efforts of the advisors to help me secure another but it was a poor choice. No wifi TV that only allows playback via devices Made for very lonely evenings.
