"Warmly welcomed by the lovely Lucia & her husband, her place is perfectly positioned in the central part of Oppido making it very walkable to all the interesting points in the awesome cultural town, the locals are all so hospitable, it was an extreme pleasure to visit my mum‘s hometown. Lucia’s home is lager than expected, 3 double bedrooms & 2 bath rooms, 6 to 10 people could easily stay here, full kitchen & nice courtyard, nothing more needed in this home."

"Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "Great stay at this hotel… very friendly staff , not unisual for Italians and let alone Calabrese people … The breakfast is very nice and filling, continental with vienoiserie , juices, a variey of coffee brews… fruit , toast…. "Our family (7 people 3 rooms) had a great stay. The facility is very clean and up to date. The rooms are spacious with the air conditioning working wonderfully! The beach is as advertised, small, but a cove. Crystal clear water, and great sand lent for a wonderful beach stay, our first time in the region. Parking is tight, and the road to get there is “slightly” a one lane that supports 2 directional cars, all part of the adventure…. Go slow and remember you are in Italy! We had one snafu which was expensive. 2 of the 7 people met us at the hotel (different flight/car). I bought the family’s hotel rooms, Expedia only allowed me to book 5 people (and rooms). The 2 extra people (in the same rooms) cost us $1,000 for 3 nights! That seemed unfair to me."
