The lights in the upstairs bedroom and bathroom did not work, a stove burner was not working, a chair in the living room was broken and there was no working smoke detector. We loved the uniqueness and the history behind the home. My only complaint was only 2 burners on the stove worked, and even those were a struggle to use. No TV’s in the bedrooms. And the silverware was dirty and we had to wash it all before we could use it. So very minor fixable complaints. Unfortunately it was all the time and it was disgusting. We couldn't use the water for cooking or drinking. There was a waterfiltering picture but it was cracked and leaked water. The chair in the living room was broken so only a 3 seater couch so two people had nowhere to sit. I had to reset the router multiple times for wifi due to no phone service at the location. I did a load of laundry and the iron making the water orange ruined to pieces of clothing. There is a two burner stove one burner didn't work the one that did was lacking taking forever to cook anything. The walkway is flat stones that had putches of green growth which was extremely slippery with the rain causing a fall hurting the knee and back. I always leave a place clean but i feel like paying a cleaning fee i shouldn't have to take my trash with me. That is a part of doing business. My stay wasn't relaxing and pleasant as i had anticipated. I like that it was why off from the world though! I didn’t like that the lights were off and water. There were dead birds on the balcony but I can see that because of location. I thank you for allowing me to stay but I believe I’d ask for a different unit the next time. I never really got to speak to the hoist it was message only I’d like to hear a voice when having issues. There was a hole in the wall in upstairs bath I didn’t get a picture but I wanted to note it was there already. We traveled in for a triathlon in Chattanooga, and this cabin was perfect! I felt so at peace. It was very clean and Rachel was super responsive. There was no cell service, which was fine for us.
