The property was down an overgrown track and the garden looked like a builders yard (plus additional dog poop) very isolated (which is what we normally go for) there is nothing around - nearest decent(ish) shops for food 6 miles away. The property was musty and damp (I took photos of the flaking paint) we stayed one night then left. I emailed the owner with photos and comments I had an apology but no offer of a reduction or to put things right for other guests - the owner...

Ook zou het fijn zijn een paar scherpe messen in de la te hebben, kip snijden met een broodmes is niet handig. Mevrouw van de receptie is heel vriendelijk, ze spreken alleen Italiaans, maar met translate komen we er wel uit. Handdoeken, Wi-Fi en airconditioning moet apart worden afgerekend, niet goedkoop. "Die Unterkunft ist aussergewöhnlich gut. Der Vermieter wohnt im Haus und ist sehr zuvorkommend. Der einzige Wermutstropfen ist die nahe Schnellstrasse. Wenn man draussen sitzt ist der Verkehr sehr laut zu hören. In der Unterkunft mit Fenster zu, hört man ihn gar nicht mehr. Unterkunft liegt etwas abgelegen. Was wir lieben. Auto ist erforderlich. Wenn man Abgeschiedenheit sucht, perfekt. Sucht man TourigetĂŒmmel, dann muss man woanders suchen."

"Clean hotel in a quiet area. We booked here to explore the blue zone, but found there aren't many places to eat/supermarkets/things to do without driving a long distance. Breakfast was just a croissant, some fruit, juice and a coffee - if you want eggs and cold meats you had to pay additional euro (despite it saying "breakfast buffet included"). The room was spacious and clean, but older e.g. old toilet system and shower screen difficult to close. Overall a decent stay if you need to be in the area, but if you're looking to explore, would probably recommend staying closer to developed areas in the North or South with better facilities and restaurants and driving in for a visit. "
