"Great location, beautiful property. The breakfast was amazing. This is located front row seat to the beach. Parking costs, but is super easy. The rooms are clean and cozy. There's a common room with a bar that is great for reading a book. The staff were very helpful and attentive. Would absolutely stay here again."

"Lanthia was a wonderful resort. Very quaint and quiet if you travel off-season (October 1st). If you are looking for a local small village with a beautiful beach and mountains this is the place for you. If you want more of a party scene this is not the place for you. Bar closes at 10 PM and everything in town shuts down early. Overall great experience. Would recommend."

"Beautiful views and hotel. The breakfast was delicious and a good variety. The hotel is on a steep hill which can be an issue for some who like to walk. They do have shuttles available to take you down to the port and restaurants . I would recommend a boat trip to visit the beaches ."

Finding a place to stay in the center of Barbagia will be quite difficult. However, within 19 miles, Expedia has 16 hotels that you might want to look into.

One of the most comfortable options is the Su Gologone.

Whether you still haven't found the perfect place or just want to explore all of your accommodation options, you should check out the Euro Hotel and the Hotel Gorropu. They are located 12 miles and 10 miles away from the main hub of Barbagia. 17 miles away from the center of this area you will also find the Hotel Il Querceto Dorgali.

Orosei is 30 miles to the northeast of Barbagia, and is where you'll find the Juniper Cove and Ginepro Beach. Should you wish to spend a night or two in Orosei, check out the Residence Marina Palace and Club Hotel Marina Beach. Alternatively, you could consider staying in Abbasanta, 30 miles to the west of Barbagia, where you can pick from the Country Hotel Mandra Edera and Hotel Su Baione. Should you choose to stay in Abbasanta, be sure to visit Church of Santa Caterina and Nuraghe Losa Archaeological Site.

Oristano is 40 miles away from Barbagia. While you are here, you may wish to explore the Church of Santa Chiara, the Eleanor of Arborea Statue and Tower of St. Christophoros. The Cathedral of Oristano and Church of San Francesco are also well worth investigating. Oristano offers Expedia-listed hotels and apartments to suit everyone, like the Hotel Mistral 2 and Mariano IV Palace Hotel.

How to Get to Barbagia

Costa Smeralda Airport is a convenient airport for flying into and leaving Barbagia. It is 55 miles drive away. If you would like to stay nearby, try the Jazz Hotel or the Casa Valen.
