Bear Creek Lodge

Honestly - perfection! This home is gorgeous and not a single detail was missed. It's super comfy and spacious. We had 9 people and we weren't even remotely cramped. The owners are amazing! You will NOT regret staying here!

Perfect stay, very close to Seward

Our family of 8 adults had the best time staying at this cabin! It is even better than in the photos. Beds were comfy, lots of gathering spaces, very well-equipped. We especially loved the hot tub. Thanks for a great stay! Highly recommend!

Perfect Place to Stay!

This was a wonderful place to stay for our party of 4 couples. The house was clean, kitchen large and we could visit with each other inside and outside. The owners were friendly and very helpful. We highly recommend that place.

Wonderful Stay!

We loved our stay here. We had amazing hosts! They were available but not invasive and thought of every small detail to make the stay leaving you wanting for nothing. Bear creek was comfortable, clean, and lovely. The hot tub was awesome at the end of the day!

Great location in Seward

Bear Paw Lodge exceeded our expectations. The house was impeccably clean and outfitted with everything you need for a comfortable vacation stay -- plus a hot tub and extremely helpful owners. You are close to trailheads, Kenai Fjords National Park and Seward. Great place.

Great location! Everything was just perfect. Plenty of rooms for our large group. Inside and out was great. Stayed for 5 nights and felt like we were HOME during our stay. Owners were great to work with!

Best Log Cabin in Seward AK

This is a very large and beautiful cabin, it is very well maintained, has all the amenities you could ask for. Spacious living areas throughout the cabin, well planned out! Ideal location, 5 minutes from town, shopping, supermarket and most of all sport fishing at it's finest!

Amazing cabin, lovely Seward Experience

We had a wonderful stay in Wendy’s cabin! The home was spotless clean and incredibly comfortable. Laundry was fantastic, and we relaxed in front of the fireplace and in the hot tub. Wendy was very attentive and helped us book a tour too. And we even got to watch a moose meander in the backyard. What a gem; I wish I was still there!

Beautiful Vacation Home

This is likely the nicest place to stay in the Seward area. The home is both beautiful and unique, and feels remote while still being only a 10-minute drive to Seward. It is extremely clean and comfortable, and very well stocked with items such as coffee, sugar, condiments, and most other necessities that make for a great stay. Our party of 5 had a wonderful 4-night stay, and would highly recommend to anyone interested in vacationing in the area.

Great Stay!

Wendy and Dave couldn’t have a nicer cabin. It was the perfect place to rest from all of our hikes and excursions in the Seward area. We loved the huge stone fireplace in the living room area. It was perfect to sit around in the mornings and evenings, as was the spacious deck. Wendy and Dave were also very accommodating and responsive, there with a helping hand or advice when needed. Just an awesome stay!

We loved every thing about our stay at Bear Paw Lodge. The small details definitely set you apart from any VRBO I have ever stayed in. Than you for your hospitality and I am glad I was able to meet you in person. I would love to make it back again some day.

What a wonderful place to stay! Chocolate chip cookies awaited us on the dining table. The location was perfect as well as the extra amenities were a nice touch. Wendy made everything simple and easy for us and was always prompt to answer any questions. I want to go back and stay longer!

Charming cabin

Welcomed with a plate of home made chocolate chip cookies. Clean, charming cabin with lots of history and character. Owners friendly and helpful. Plenty of room for spreading out, quite time when wanted. We enjoyed the hot tub. Clean. Everything we needed was provided plus extras to make it like coming home.

Spacious, beautiful log cabin home.

My friends and I loved our stay in Seward. The home was even more beautiful than the pictures. The hot tub was a nice way to unwind after our excursions. Maggie was super friendly and very helpful. Wendy was quick to respond with any questions. I would highly recommend renting this property and would definitely come back again. Thank you so much for having us as your guests.
