"This hotel was easily one of the best hotels we stayed in Japan. The hotel rooms have a proper ryokan feel and the hotel staff are the nicest people I have came across in Japan. We didn’t even ask them for a shuttle pick up from our bus stop but a car with a driver was already there They provide free shuttle to and fro Sukurai station which I wish I knew from before. "Great experience! The staff is very helpful and international so no issues with language. The room had everything you need, including a comfy matrass to sleep on. Diner was vegan and very tasty. Afterwards we were invited to a meditation session and in the morning you can attend the morning ceremony. Breakfast is served and at 10 you can check out but leave your stuff to explore. A must stay if you are in Koyasan!"
