"This is a wonderful place to stay in Kyoto. Feels like a cozy home. Has everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Location is excellent as well, 5 minute walk to Tofukuji station which will connect you to anywhere in the city. I highly recommend this amazing place."

"We really enjoyed staying in a real house in a real neighborhood for our trip to Kyoto. There was plenty of room for our small family, and we felt we had a more authentic visit to this beautiful city. A couple things to note for those who read reviews is that the stairs to the bedrooms are very steep and narrow, and I worried for my husband navigating them in the dark at night. The bed in the second bedroom is on the floor, which isn't a bad thing considering this is an authentic experience,...

"The house was great and in perfect condition.
Great location as it is 3 min from the Inari shrine and close to the train station which is always helpful.
Nothing to complain about except 1 thing: there was no pool table as shown on the photos and we were not told about it. The guy who gave us the keys told us it is being fixed, which is fine but we would have prefered to know beforehand as we were very excited about it.

"Wonderful hotel choice, less than 10 minute walk to Kyoto station. Quiet area but walkable to many shops and food options. Loved the public bath option. The staff was great and helped with our luggage transfer. We did not include the breakfast option and it was a bit overpriced at around $30 usd per person. "
