“Nice quiet rural setting only 5kms from town.”

“Extremely helpful staff”

“Very friendly and welcoming.”

“Cottage was beautifully decorated & well appointed. Very private & peaceful location. The weather was wet & chilly during our stay so the log burner was much appreciated! ”

“Property is great, but massive downside is no WiFi. This should be flagged at top of listing - a note for the owners and Hotels.com/Expedia. Some people may want a place with no WiFi, so it can be a selling point too. But this place has very poor mobile phone reception too. For a combined holiday with the need to do some work, this just didn't work. The owners also highlighted the TV, which only had basic channels despite being a smart TV. The place was spotless, but relatively basic. The check……

“Excellent location, not too close to town and on the river”

“Enjoyed our winter stay in the bush style retreat, nice views and the birds were friendly. Good location. There was a person cleaning when we arrived but it was still very unclean, we needed to sweep and remove cobwebs from the bedroom and the oven had never been cleaned. The host provided some firewood but it was stored on the ground in the wet so not useful.”

“We have just spent five nights at The Studio, over the Easter long weekend, and had a fantastic time away. The Studio was perfect for our needs (we are a family of four, including two teenagers) and very comfortable (including very comfortable beds) and the perfect location as it is walking distance to the heart of Denmark. Although there no inbuilt cooker, there were plenty of gadgets for us to be able to prepare and cook meals, including electric frypan, an electric hot plate, microwave etc,……

“The host Vanessa was excellent, and the property was in a perfect condition and convenient location, only a short walk to town. No spa pool as advertised. However, I would highly recommend!”

“A fantastic place. Beautifully located amongst trees and birdlife, and super accessible for our dog. Probably the best equipped kitchen of any accommodation we've ever been to. A fantastic fireplace and large space for us all to hang out. Will definitely return the next time we're in Denmark.”

“Beautiful stay, exactly as described. Stylish rustic surf shack that is well appointed with all the modern comforts and (pet) family friendly. Tanya and Pete have thought of everything and are very welcoming with great communication and responsive to all your needs.”

“Very homely place amongst beautiful forest but also so close to town. ”

“The owners were lovely!! The place looked freshly renovated, was clean and well designed. If you’re looking for somewhere to completely switch off, this is it!! It’s about half way between Denmark and Walpole so if you want to visit both towns then this is perfectly located. Would definitely recommend ☺️”
